Do you think BioWare will release a DA:O DLC to bridge the lore gap, or will the transition in events be told during the opening sequence of DA2 (or via pre-release marketing)?
Will there be a DA:O DLC to bridge the lore gap?

I don't think so, considering DA2 takes place in a different region, and has a brand new MC.

Those are the exact reasons to have a DLC to explain the end of one hero's storyline and open the possibilities for another's emergence.

I don't think BioWare uses those storytelling mechancis anymore but anything is possible, I guess.
