A prepubescent fanboy wouldn't have the urges to see nudity thus that statement is invalid. Personally no Nudity...but no Underwear. Like make everything shadowed and make it romantic...like Mass Effect.

Nudity or camera angles or shadows, don´t care. Just not the stupid middle ground from Origins, which included a bug that turned the scene in something taken from Excalibur.

What I would like to see for once is the possibility of npc characters in your party getting closer to each other and maybe getting together. But then of course there would be alot of drama if you and say the other male character tried to go after the same lady. That would make things interesting though.

Maybe this time Fox News will have more important thing to think about, instead of bother for a 20 seconds scene in a game (which is however rated 18+ so what's the problem?)

I still say the whole thing happened because they didn't have any news to show. If they had, it's exactly like you said: why would they bother with a great game that was already rated mature?

As long as Videogames are considered in the "all ages" or teen age ghetto this problem will be here, especially in american games. The Witcher even had to go censored to the US. Sad considering how you can play a complete monster and anger comes from a tame consensual sex scene.

You weren't forced into doing this and the dialog options which lead up to it were pretty difficult to miss. It was meant to be kind of silly fun ... you know, *fun*, the stuff that doesn't always have to be 100% serious and might just appeal to a few folks?

Right.  Romance Alistair and have a choice to send him to have sex with Morrigan, die or recruit Loghain and have Alistair take off because of course you don't listen to your love interest, you leave.  

If sex with Morrigan had been one choice I would have been fine with it and I and would have done it to see what happened.  But it was the only choice if you wanted both of  you to live.  Gerrrrrrrrr that makes me very irritated.  He listens to a friend but not his love interest.  

One of the backgrounds where you support the Queen, if you were his LI he should have stayed and let Loghain give his life to save ours.  He could have gone off to fight in another area or he could have gone to get drunk but when it was over he should have come and said - Yes love, you were right.   He does do this if you are his friend and he marries the Queen.  Fusses when it's suggested and says you were right when it's over.  

JE you did have choices,  and I did them all happily.

As a wider aside, it says a lot about society that we can readily accept and digest tons of uber-violent video games where people get ripped limb from limb, shooting someone in the face is comendable, and your earn extra credit for sadistically executing unarmed victims in creative ways, and yet the sight of a topless woman is considered inappropriate



people are always going to disagree because a lot of people have hang-ups in relation to sex.. the fact is sex is not a big deal ! it's not dirty it's not something be ashamed of ! so if anyone makes a big deal about this they're prudes pure and simple

I support the idea of having to compete with an npc for a love interest. Might be even more interesting if you were trying to seduce an npc of the same sex, while your competitor was the opposite sex (eg. you're a woman trying to romance a woman, while your rival for her affections is a man ... or the other way around) ... imagine some of the intense rp that could showcase!

i stayed his friend (female dalish warden zev my LI) got loghain after loghains joining i went stright to alistair and talked to him just chose the ones to stay his friend (course i got getting him and anora to marry before hand ) then got loghain to have sex with morrigan

1. DA:O was not intended to have a sunshine and rainbows ending. Bad things were supposed to happen no matter what you did.
2. You betray Alistair by not killing Loghain. Look at it from that angle to determine if him leaving makes sense or not. Right now you're seeing it only from character's point of view where she feels betrayed that he abandoned her because of the choice she made.
3. One of you has to die. Alistair would rather die than let Loghain live. If he sleeps with Morrigan he can live. It's a difficult situation, but it is such as it is. That's awesome story telling. They give you something realistic, where there is no "perfect solution."

Alistair only listens to a point sparing Loghain if hardened. But what you are complaining about is your choices having a cost and characters having some backbone and not alwasys doing everything you want.
Love JE, but the cousins threesome made little sense. That must be the only time in the game those two agreed on something. Even in the diaries in their miniquest they are just grudginly respectful towars the other, but no trouble sleeping with the monk both at once or not at all?

Romances never go anywhere in a game. In fact, I tried making my character a manipulative elf that got all the ladies loving him, but he never had anything physical with them. But really, there was no real reason, other than making sure that they loved me, but here's the thing, they loved -me- but all the dialog options lead me to think, my character loved them. I hate Leliana and Morrigan. I just wanted them to think I loved them. Fug.



Not only that, but it's not like they treated me any better anyhow, so it was for naught. I think I am going to go for a playthrough where I just kick them both out of my party and forget about it. They're annoying and as me, the player, have no real reasons to admire them at all. Both of them lie to me, keep things from me, sing really bad songs, and plot behind my back. While I, on the other hand, can't do any of that to them.

I'm all for sexual freedom and all its just I couldn't do that without feeling like a massive douche.
Maybe they should've gave female players the option of a Sky/Lu romance to even it out.

I've met girly girls, they all have personalities. Leliana reminds me too much of the "one time at band camp.." girl. She don't have much to say, but still manage to talk for ages. Meh.

A little Sigrun to love would be great though, and I do understand that most people prefer humans/elves.. I'm not into short guys myself (although I love the whole hairy-sturdy-guy thing ), but my character might be.

There's still a lot more they could do with the angle they're working around (which I'm sure is to bypass the problem of animating their mouths and such). It just feel silly that you get ONE sex cutscreen, and from there on out you get the exact same kiss for every "tent visit" or "kiss". I know people claim that they vary across races and NPCs but honestly? Um, not very much.

I'd also like to be able to kiss any of the li while your in town or walking around and have the comments from the other party members.  I thought this was great in DA.  
edit - and keep the bit where they can tell if you are alone.  I'd take Alistair out just the two of us to visit the local bar  and it was great.

im from england so its even more annoying for us coz we dont have the same restrictions as usa

Agreed, it makes me sad to see how many things a Mature game feels obligated to shy - if not outright flee - away from.
