Personally I'd like to see more romance choices. Meaning your character can take a more pious route or take a route similar to The Witcher and all those in between.

I think they are going to go the Fable route.
You mean make huge promises and fail to deliver? I'm not saying the Fable games weren't fun. I enjoyed both of them a great deal, it's just that Peter Molyneux has a habit of always making more promises than he can deliver on with the current technology. Maybe when the new round of consoles come around, he can deliver everything he promised for Fable II.

More romance options are always better, but Bioware seems to average about two to three possibilities per sex in any one game, which is just fine.

I had to turn the speakers off and not look at the screen while I giggled like a schoolgirl. Some part of me hopes that was the reaction intended...but another part of me doubts it. =P

My family's got some horrible misconceptions about how the Dragon Age controls work after hearing me scream, "BLINK! BLINK, GODDAMN YOU" at my television on several occasions.

IF, note I'm saying "IF", that's Morrigan's kid and you helped make it doing the ritual....I would find it kinda odd, even though you aren't playing the Warden, that you could romance her....it would wierd me out. But, eh that's just me.k177sh0t wrote...

People who don't like romances are aware of the fact that they're entirely optional, right?
This is actually a problem I have in several of Bioware's games. Optional? Yes. Difficult to avoid? Sometimes. As someone who likes to talk to everyone and try to learn about all characters, I end up smacking right into romances I didn't want.
In KOTOR, you WILL romance Ballista or Carth if you talk to them at all. The only way to avoid it is to simply not speak to them and miss on their backstory.
In ME1, the same thing happens with Ashley and Kaiden. You can't play nice. You've got to cut them down to avoid attraction, and then there's a certain point you can no longer speak to Liara without the romance coming up.
I don't know if my Dragon Age Origins was glitched, but somehow Leiliana was all over me. She assumed we were in a relationship after we did her character quest without my Warden once implying such a thing. I was baffled. I broke up with her immediately (awkwwaaaaaard), but then she seemed to still assume we were a couple. :|; I had to reload my last save and, again, never speak to her.
ME2? Couldn't talk to Thane after a certain point or it'd get awkward. (I liked how Garrus' worked-- instigate, or don't. Simple. Obvious.)
It doesn't count as "optional" if you have to break up or tell people off. I actually like that there are romance options, even though I never want to take them. The whole "You were nice to me so now let's have sex and be together forever" take baffles me. XD I would appreciate it if it was easier and more obviously optional, and if I could still talk to all characters and learn all their backstory without romance coming up.

One of my problems with the way the female Human Noble origin worked in DAO was the way the game kept nudging you in Alistair's direction and wiggling its eyebrows. Which made me go after Leliana instead out of a desire to graffiti the game's reality.
Of course, he fell in love with Lesbian Cousland anyway. And there wasn't even an, "I'm sorry, I like chicks" option when letting him down gently.

Alistair: "You horrible monster! I hate you!"
me: {gives him shiny things}
Alistair: "Let's get married!"

Presents for approval isn't entirely bad, but your actions should lock out some romance options no matter how many presents you give. Some evil child killing witch shouldn't be able to counteract her own evilness and marry Al based on giving him things that make him happy. Similarly some white hat tree hugging hippie shouldn't be able to buy Morrigan like she's a cheap hooker.
