So long as its not overly 'fluffy' and has a few dilemmas to interfere, so as to make it more unpredictable and interesting...

As for who or what I'd like to romance...
I'd like a tough, sarcastic female elf. Not very original but what can ya do?
If not, just give me a female who can kick some arse.
I'm holding out some hopes for Aveliene (sorry if thats the wrong spelling)

I´d like to have some romance options. Not for the sex scenes ... well, not ONLY for them.



Seriously, romances made the games seem more "complete". There is a bunch of people, forced together due to circumstances, they battle together, they watch comrades fall and then there is this huge threat lingering at the horizon. Of course its kinda stereotype, but its almost the perfect opportunity for giving some comfort to each other.



Personally, some romances would make me happy.

I think that if u are goin to have romances, than u should be given the choice of if u want like a one night stand kinda thing or a searious relationship. And by searious I don't mean marraige and babies- that would kinda ruin the concept and also I have to admit, the romance is my favourite part coz it influences the story (like in Origins where Alistair loved u enough to die for u) but I don't only play the game for its romance but also for its adventure and gameplay.



The perfect romance options for me would be 1 of the following:

-a guy exactly like Sir Gilmor, smart handsome, apropriet, decent, and a gentlemn.

OR

-a sarcastic bad boy who somewhere along the line is royalty and is almost the opposite of the 1st. He should be smart, hott, inapropriet, naughty and a bit of an ass..



Ofcourse they should both be 100% romanceable. Wether they are party members or otherwise. I would have prefered if they were party members but its too late for that now.. :'(

I seems to constantly fall for women in bioware games who can kill me with a flick of their wrist or their minds. Liara, Jack, Morrigan, Liara again. I find when playing a Guy that I like the tough independent women more so than ones that would be considered "girly". I'm hoping for Aveline to be a LI, as I don't care about her looks. As for the boys, Fenris and Sebastian look the most promising as I think Varric is going to wear out his welcome very quickly.

Unfortunately, Aveline has been confirmed NOT to be an LI in an interview...sucks I know.

To be honest, the way the interview was written, I got an 'Almost but not quite' vibe moreso than a 'no LI for you' vibe.

OK so here is what we know:

Avaline is NOT a LI

Isabella IS a LI

Fenris has a 99.99% chance

Seb is a DLC character so Im not getting my hopes up but you never know

Merril also has a strong chance

And people are speculating thats its between Varric and Anders for the "last spot" in the list of LIs



So who would you prefer?Now that we have some characters revieled,who are you looking forward to romancing the most? :3

I don't follow romances in games anymore. The characters are rarely that interesting. I think I used to go for it more for completion than anything else. When my Claudia Black fanboyism wasn't applicable.

However, I will say that Cassandra looks saucy.  For not being a romance option.

Truthfully, was looking forward to both Merril and Aveline..... Sooooooo, YAY MERRIL!!

The writer for Aveline even posted in the Aveline fan thread after news broke that she was not a LI. It's been confirmed at least twice -- via that article and via the dev post -- yesterday.

None. I've good moment with Morrigan. I miss romance option in Mass Effect 2.  I expect the same in DA2 due to new pace and considering Aveline may be as difficult as Mirinda. It's better not to put any hope and dreams. I guess action and combat is the only option left for me.

Yes, you're absolutely right - in the interview he does say that you will have options with her later on in game (after she gets over her hubby...lol)
