Is more customizability with the character.
Obviously since this is a Bioware game, we're not going to be tied down to the main male & female characters face. And obviously the one thing that bioware games have been lacking for awhile is the very little and varied options for the character themselves, resorting people to download hair mods and eye colors, different textures, ect. I'm not saying that they need to have like every hairstyle ever, or so, but at least let us have more options to choose from, and better armor. I know Bioware learned to put better looking outfits and armor in ME2 after ME1, so lets hope the same can be said for DA2.

Bioware should hire some of the awesome modders out there that have really good taste and do work that blows a lot of Bioware's default stuff out of the water.

Agreed. Alot of the hair, and eye mods are spectacular.

If the main character is going to look anything like the concept art, then this is going to be the one Bioware character I won't change the looks of.

How about sliders for bodies as well? Everyone in Origins possessed the same body type.

as irritated as i am about being locked into playing a human, improved character creation (i play console; no mods for me) would take a lot of the sting out.

Indeed, but I doubt it.
They'll probably change him somehow ingame.

Funniest thing I read today. Thank you.

I'm hoping there are a lot of options by default and I'm hoping for some control over body types or something.

Developers, Artists, 3d modelers, admins, mods, tea ladies, anyone!

Please please please actually put the great concept art designs in the game..

You spent a lot of your precious time creating these beautiful creations why not actually put them in the game.

example 1 -

images3.wikia.nocookie.net/dragonage/images/c/c1/Leliana_Concept_Art.jpg

example 2 -

images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090628180720/dragonage/images/4/4f/Humans_-_Noble.jpg

example 3 -

images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090628160310/dragonage/images/thumb/3/3d/Mage2.jpg/344px-Mage2.jpg

example 4 -

images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090809031427/dragonage/images/thumb/e/ec/Alistair_concept.jpg/415px-Alistair_concept.jpg

example 5 -

images4.wikia.nocookie.net/dragonage/images/2/22/Default_Player_CGI.jpg

example 6 -

i45.tinypic.com/vht0ub.jpg

I could go on.

The point is all these designs are pure WIN but didn't make it into the game which is bad.

Now I've seen the concept art for DA2 and it looks sweet and one or a team of you have spent a lot of time on it.

PUT IT INTO THE GAME!

thanks

:kissing:

It always bugged me how the PCs hair never moved. Her hair was just stiff it never bent or any thing so it looked weird wearing bulky armor with longer hair.

The one thing I'm hoping for, the one thing I firmly associate Dragon Age with as a franchise- Pausable tactical combat. That's it, that's the crux of it to me, the link to Bioware's past and the Infinity Engine, the return to Bioware's origins that made the subtitle 'Origins' so appropriate.

Please deliver that one vital element. Dragon Age was the last trace of it remaining. We don't need another Elder Scrolls coming from anywhere but Bethesda (and maybe Obsidian, if they can actually successfully manage a project for once). We don't need another Fable inhabiting Dragon Age's desecrated corpse. Those bases are covered just fine already by the franchises that developed those styles of play. But there are no other franchises offering what Dragon Age promised to in its debut. That's it right now, and apparently it was perfectly successful in its own right. Please don't pull a Brotherhood of Steel.

The character customisation in DAO was limited, and yet, the created warden fails to blend naturally into the enrvironment and his surroundings. He doesnt even blink his eyes or ever smiles!!!

Hopefully, the new VA would being life and emotions/expression onto the hero. Oh, and I would also agree to add more options including height/weight..
