Will it exist at all?

Will there be at least small references to the first game, if so?

Or will the important, relevant parts of DA:O simply be given a canon ending and we'll be starting completely anew?

I figure having a main, named character is good for the series as a whole, seeing as it allows him to be voiced, and for other characters to address him by name, meaning far along the line, in Dragon Age 3+ etc, we'll really see the fruits of this change.  But i'm still interested in knowing the answer to this question.

I dought that you will see any response for awhile, faction699. Though I to hope, and for the time being until corrected by an official Bioware announcement, believe that there will be some transfering of data from Origins to DA2. Not for our Warden but probably for the story elements, example being what happened with the Dalish.

Also for anyone else who reads this I am happy that they are making a standard player to play as, though I still hope for some customization such as those found in Mass Effect for Commander Shephard. No where that I have seen has it said that the charachter you play as, can't find the name at the moment, can't be customized. Besides I can't imagine that they will get rid of all customization options, you just wont be able to name him whatever you like anymore.
