2) If you stare at hero's ass in third person mode for 60 hours it better be a female ass. If you've played Dead Space you know what I mean...

I know what do you mean and I sincerely think you are a sexist. I play the game for what it is, not for the looks or eyecandies. :wizard:

Does this make me a bad person?:D

This makes you one of many.

Well I usually look at the terrain and the other characters and do not spend the entire game staring at my character's ass but hey everybody plays differently.

Besides you can always stare at a female party member's ass.

How do you know that the beard is not a recruitable character?

I hope there's enough gift brushes, ribbons and other paraphernalia to patch over these inevitable situations someone sets the beard on fire.

Well, I guess it's less of a problem on PC, but I play on PS3 and character is always in the center of the screen. As for terrain, it's not that beautiful in DAO. Well, sometimes you get to a beautiful and epic places like Orzammar, but all this time in bland dungeons....

As for female companions... I tend to always control my PC. I only use other characters when I issue commands during a pause. That's why I never invest in PC's tactics, so he/she's useless when not controlled manually.

Hawke can be female.

Mary, if you can tell us: Are you guys planning seperate dialogue trees for Hawke, depending on the gender? One of the things that always bugged me with Mass Effect 2, was how Shepard would always react in this sort of stereotypical "male action hero" fashion, because that was simply the lowest common denominator. Is Hawke going to be able to react differently depending on gender, or will most of the choices be the same, except for us hearing a different voice actor?

The confusion with the PC's gender starts already. They should really do away with this "iconic male image" and stick to the simple design like DAO. Blood splatter dragon shape.

We've never done separate dialogue trees for genders. Unless you mean something differently than we do by "dialogue trees." Branches, maybe. Hawke will be able to react differently according to gender at times, much as the Warden could in Origins. We are generally not assuming the player is a marine.

I was just wondering, hoping Hawke won't be an action stereotype - male or female.

Will we be able to customize the look of Human Hawke? Or is there a specific model for Male/Female?

ALSO, will Hawke be fully voiced for both genders?

Well, the player's character in DA:O is pretty much a "medieval marine" with their Grey Warden thing, gets the same dialogue options no matter if they're male or female, but it wasn't exactly a problem was it? So unless they change drastically from the way they've been doing the first game and the expansion... it doesn't seem like something to worry about.

Oh, I hope Hawke isn't fully voiced at all. It was nice with DA:O to pick a dialogue option and have that be exactly what my character said.

what i really hope for is that the dialoque system remains the same as in DA:O. what really annoyed me in ME.2 was that you couldn´t always tell what the character would say (german version, propably thats better in the english one) according to the option you chose.

Can we still customize our hero's face if we don't like the default one (ala Mass Effect)?

Shepard was always a soldier, so it made sense there. Hawke can presumably be anything from a brutal warrior to an intellectual mage, so I'm sure it won't be the same.

This so bloody much! I'm getting so frustrated that the grand majourity of games have the canon main character male! Feature both or none at all.

I just gotta ask, will there be romance characters? I don't know if this has been answered yet, but I will admit to being a shameless fangirl.

Romance here and romance there, don't you people have enough romance in real life? :-)
