* The ME2 presentation is pretty much the ultimate in modern day rpg storytelling.
*The WItcher, Planescape:Torment and ME2, the three greatest RPG's of all time had  a preset hero and yet felt more personal than anything else, so stop worrying.
* It's not something that was in production for 6 years and kept trying to stay ahead of it's ancient graphics engine and mechanics.

Good RPG's are not about micromanaging a stat-board.

They are about sucking you in the moment. About making you BE the character.

Dragon Age II will so deliver on all this.

Call it a hunch.

A word of advice, don't start a detective agency.

*laughing hysterically*

Touche on ALL counts comrades :D

I have never been SO wrong about a game in all my days as a geeklord and I gladly eat every last one of my words.

Dragon Age 2 is the worst thing Bioware's ever done, marginally less enjoyable than the Gothic 4 pseudo-RPG out there.

Just a heads up. This thread was resurrected by a spammer, and I removed his post. So no worries, Borrachofunk69, people weren't dredging this up to make you eat crow.

I'm sure a lot of us have posts on forums we'd like to remain buried, I know I have.

This is sad even for you monica. Maybe you should actually look at the date and be familiar with the posters current feelings. Look below or here http://social.biowar...index/7032286/1

I guess he now goes from a fanboy to a paragon of truth and greatness?

its like blood in the water.  Worst is a absolute and i find it far from worse, but keep that optimism.

Man barrachofunk69 you were so on the money man, shepard and now hawke are like the height of immersion in video games, nevermind being pigeon holed in to A or B shepards, or A, B, and C hawkes. I was enthralled, enchanted even. Plus all those exploding corpses really drew me in, it felt like i had gallons of blood on my face. Or maybe that was just the tears for the death of a genre.

Hey, as long as CDProjekt RED and Obsidian are around, the genre stays alive and kickin'. Hell, there's even Mass Effect 3 on the horizon. Death of a franchise, sure :)

Or maybe before rushing to attack someone because they happen to disagree with you... you should read thru the rest of this very short thread to see his comments that are not 9 months old. You know how he eats those words he said so very long ago.

I know its tough right?

IMHO thread should just get locked and allowed to rest in peace.
