I fear for the following things:

- NO multiplayermode like in DA:O; multiplayer mode significantly increases the game's lifevalue.
- Too many DLC's, I'd rather have it ready at launch. Paying for a 30 min max extra gametime is retarded.
- A story similar to ME2 and DA:O; basically you are gathering allies and then the "core story" is too short. Make the plot bigger IMO.
- No character import from DA:O
- Everything that has happened in Ferelden, is forgotten in DA:O 2
- No Alistair and Morrigan involved.
- A disappointing expansion like awakening.
- Too few "Dungeons" and places to be.
- A very limited character customization; it would be cool to draw your own tattoo's etc.

That's all I can think of for now. Time to go to bed and pray that my liver cleanse my body from tonights alcohol =D

There's virtually no chance of Bioware NOT disappointing most of their fanbase as long as the fans continue to hold an archaic 1990s view of what makes an rpg.

Bioware, ignore them and continue to push the rpg genre forward. If you listened to the fans all the time, the western rpg genre would be in as bad a shape as the japanese one is.

- There's multiplayer in Dragon Age: Origins?
- DLC isn't made at launch, it's made post launch with money they didn't have from the initial funding. It cost time and money to make it, least we can do it pay them back.
- The plot summary seems to lean towards it, sort of.
- Nothing to really say here, it's been said thousands of times before.
- They will probably mention some stuff but it'll be vague, like "Did you hear anything about the blight in Ferelden?"
- Morrigan, I believe, was said to reappear.
- Let's hope they learned from their mistakes.
- Dragon Age was more linear than Oblivion, there wasn't optional dungeons and such. The 'dungeons' were necessary for plot. I'm interested in this as well, though - optional dungeons and bosses would be fun.

I think by multiplayer he means switching from your Warden to Morrigan in combat.

Two words: Action RPG.

And at this stage in the development, if that's what it is, that's what it is. There's nothing to be done about it. But I'll be utterly gobsmacked that they would choose to make such a radical deviation from the first game in favor of a more crowded sub-genre. That would be the exact sort of demographic-chasing bad decision that I believe most people feared from the EA purchase.

From an optomistic point of view the website front was perhaps designed by a PR douche and he/she by saying fight like a spartan think like a general issimply referancing new PC skills.

Also @ the guy who says Bioware should ignore everyone and keep pushing forward as someone said previously, Dragon Age Origins sold more than Mass Effect 2, it makes no damn sense for it to be an action RPG.

It's a little dissapointing having to be human but thats by the by.

By Multiplayer I meant Co-op with your friends with a max x members in a party. The game difficulty should be even more tougher than the toughest level in singleplayer campaign.

As long as it doesnt become ME2 like, where pretty much all of the RPG elements were so watered down it may aswell, of just been labelled as a 3rd person shooter.

I fear that it will be a dumbed down consolized version instead of a fully developed in-depth game like DA:O now is.

I'm worried that there will not be a wide variety of character types to play with, different races, different backgrounds, different interactions in the game depending on those backgrounds.

I'm afraid to see a terrible combat system that ME2 implemented, or the complete lack of inventory crap that ME2 shoved in your face.

I'm afraid that the creative artists will be drowned out by the board members trying to push for a quick buck instead of letting the game be a fully developed epic game.

FYI, Console business is bad for gaming companies... the profit margins are much less than if sold to PC because each console maker steals more of the profits. While it seems easier to develop against in some regards, you lose more creative ability and are locked into their narrow vision of what "gaming" should be.

Im surprised people even bother with consoles now since they cost almost as much as a full blown computer. Now back when I started gaming...computers ran a few thousand in price but you could get a console for around 2-3 hundred.

I have this creeping anxiety that the fandom will turn a Valve and try to petition a veto for DA2.

I think they should update the combat and make it more actiony, just keep the RPG dialog system in place.

That like mass effect to mass effect 2 it will be "streamlined" aka instead of fixing issues, remove chunks of the game.

Worst fears

1. As in DAO, limited character customization, primarily inability to change skin hue to darker shades.

2. Limited number of areas to simply explore and fight outside of areas designated as part of main storyline.

Agreed, at least for the console version.  I disliked how my guy would run half way across the map for basic attacks that could be under my direct control. Tweak the combat, keep the dialogue system, keep the innovatory and  the character creation an I may still be happy, the idea of the story covering ten years has promise.

But no origins or race picking still saddens me, and the story taking place after a devastating blight or whatever seems like a cheap excuse to have no real acknowledgment of the previous game.  Having some big event or gap so they can say "no ones sure what happened"  or "one person says this anther says that "  about the events of the previous game  is one of my biggest fears for the game.

On my DNW list

1- A voiced character. (I will sacrifice cuddly kittens to make this not happen.)

2. Awakening-style companion interaction.

3. More hack-slash storyline rather than plot development. (David Gaider, I believe in you!!)
