So I have bought all the DLC's *except Darkspawn Chronicles* or I have received them with my original purchase, but now when I log on to my Dragon Age, and open up Downloadable Content and look at my installed content it says that Wardens Keep, Blood Dragon Armor, The Stone Prisoner, Return to Ostagar, and Feastday's pranks/gifts are (Unauthorized) and to log in to an account that owns this content to enable it. I have only ever used my Cipher266 account for DA. And now I have Leliana's song and I can’t upload it because I does not ever show up on the available content....so I bought it through this account here and it is not showing up on the installed content....I have it in my DA file on my ‘My Computer’, but my DAupdater wont/cant open? What should I do? I am ready to just uninstall EVERYTHING get a new account and Re install and RE PURCHASE everything?!

AFAIK, all of your complaints are old ones. I don't use DLC as a matter of practical inconvenience (not true broad version of broadband with the family package combo that I can afford).

There's a way to use Google and direct it to search inside the Social Forums site.

I'm having the same problem with my "Wardens Keep" content. I successfully downloaded it and the content says it's unauthorized

im having the same problem. i recently had to re-install all of my Dragon Age content as my hard drive failed that held all my game info. it still says i have all the DLC installed and everything, but nothing is activated. and now Leliana isnt even showing up in the available screen or in the downloading section......

this is becoming infuriating. last time this happened i restarted the game ad everything worked, now nothing seems to work AT ALL

please help

And now, i deleted all my old save games and things and am currently getting nothing in the download list at all....... i wish i knew what was going on, cos i really wanted to play Lelianas song

I just noticed that if i go to my online profile it gives me the option to RE BUY the DLC but doesnt stop me ad say anything like "hold on, you already have this" what the hell?? my game wont let me play anymore and now it wants me to re-buy everything??? this is ridiculous.......

this is my first real problem witha bioware game. someone has to figure something out........

Hmm, interesting new problem...... I just bought the feast day pack thing to see if that helped and it appears like my game is not even connecting to the servers properly as it will not download. so maybe there is the problem........ gonna keep an eye on this and see what happens

FIXED!!!!



turns out my updater was being pointed towards a non-existent directory. so i used Regedit to make windows point towards the REAL Daupdater directory and now it all works fine



ill get someone to write up how it was done properly cos i would never be able to explian it all to you, but thank god for Clan Mates who know what theyre talking about, cos nothing on the EA or Bioware sites helped......

Same here, had the problem downloading Leiliana's Song, and I got "unauthorized" as well.

I too got the unauthorized message and I even tried the manual download as well, to no avail. Guess it is time to boot up WoW ><.

What about this step?

Go to C:\\\\Documents and Settings\\\\All Users\\\\Application Data\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\ and deleted the DAUpdater folder (where C: is the default directory)

Does this pertain to Vista systems, cuz I followed it, but I do not have so much as a "Application Data" folder in my "Documents and Settings" folder on C:

I guess this also begs questions as my system is an XP OS, and I run DA:O through Steam. Are there any difference in the steps, and just cause of this difference, that is the only step I skip due to the facts stated above.

-- On a side note: I really hate this.  The last time I asked for help on "Unauthorized" DLCs was when Darkspawn Chronicles debuted. --

On Vista it might be AppData, instead of Applications Data.

ok so i did this and it worked... or i thought... now it say that i have to rebuy all my DLCs and when i try 2 it say i already own them and to DL them but it tells me i have 2 buy them when i go 2 DL them!!!
