ME2 was a let down. It was too much Epic Games not enough Bioware.
AGREED
Fix'd that for ya'.
I considered putting in Epic Games.

Yes, yes they have. All DA content after the original game has been subpar. So how is this going to be different?
(But TOR looks fantastic.)
This is a full game, not an expansion.
And I agree, TOR does look amazing.

I don't know, I've never seen it quite so bad right after the announcement. Sure, there is always RAGE after a new game hits the shelves, but not even the Mass Effect 2 hate train really hit its stride until the Grunt and Subject Zero character videos came out.
Right now, all we have on DA2 is one paragraph of advertising-speak and 5 bullet points, but the forum is already aflame. I'm beginning to think we have unused stores of RAGE left over from ME2 that are being used up on this.

The moment I saw that Dragon Age 2 has been confirmed, I knew that I'll open the forums and see 12452352 pages of whining and moaning and MORE ROMANCE PLZ. Stop ****ing - we know next to nothing about this game and it might turn out to be just fine.

IMO Mavericik needs to learn to read better before he starts pointing fingers.

Yes, I'm sure people will stop ranting because you're asking.
I'll say this to those who are all concerned about things being changed to reach a more massive audience. We already reached a massive audience with DA:O. It would be silly to make DA2 into something that the DA:O audience couldn't recognize.

Thanks for the votes of confidence, from those of you who, you know, gave votes of confidence.
There's a lot of info in the upcoming Game Informer issue, and once that's out, we can talk a lot more. It directly addresses a lot of the questions out there. I can say, "don't worry, you'll love this game," until I lose my voice. But it won't mean anything til you get the big infodump that's coming.

Good. That's much better to hear than all the marketing jargon on "action" "boldness" and "dynamic."Victor Wachter wrote...
