They don't typically announce who gets temp-banned or perma-banned, however. So you'll see people appear and disappear for a day (assuming they weren't busy that day) or people will just disappear entirely.Jestina wrote...

Which is funny, because all the moderators and BioWare employees can easily see if a single person is making multiple accounts.
If it's like the Sims 3 community, they don't do anything except throw out a random ban to someone every now and then.
There are too many people posting on the forums for a regular poster to keep track of who gets banned or not.

Yes, because every single console player is an uneducated, foul mouthed, inattentive, mass of juveniles who have no idea how to comprehend a story or coerce a game that takes more than bullets to run.
Of course fans like you are what raised Bioware to their current status.but I'm sure you could care less because taking DA the route of Mass Effect 2 will surely bring you more money to gorge on then sticking true to those of us that....made you what you are.

What do you honestly think are the chances of that?
The fact that they announced we can only play as human(which is absolutely fantastic btw) and that our character has a pre-defined last name.......at this point I'd say the chances of Hawke having a voice and speaking ME style are through the roof. I doesn't bother me though I am neutral on the issue.

I enjoyed DA:O so very much with all the many answers the PC was able to give. I am aware that many of those answers were leading to the same response from the one the PC was talking to, but it still gave me the impression of having multiple choices available, and that was great. This will be cut down with the VO.

So I have come up with a few ideas for bioware. Feel free to
comment and improve the idea. I believe that all the ideas we give to bioware
will pay off in a better mass effect 3.
Exploration/ mineral acquisition-
So people have complained since the launch that there is
absolutely no exploration of the planets that we land on. Unlike in ME1 we
didn’t have a actual exploration vehicle at launch, and arguably till this day.
The idea to fix this could go like this. We find a planet that you want to see
if there is action going down. Scan the planet to see if anything is happening,
but you will not be doing the planet wide game that we are doing currently. How
would we get our resources? Well the scanner would say if there is any action,
or any resources that might be on the planet. If there were minerals then you
would drop down in the vehicle and explore the landscape for the minerals.
Similar to the mineral acquisition in ME1 but with a twist, which would require
you having a construction, droid drop down from the Normandy and build an
extractor. This extractor would over time give you minerals of the kind you
wanted to harvest. There would be a prompt in the mineral screen, which will
tell you the “health” of your mineral field. If it is getting depleted then it
stops sending minerals to you.
Inventory and upgrades
Ok so good deal of people were furious because of the lack
of weapons and options on customization. The first gave us a haphazard
inventory system that was overly complicated for some (personally have no issue
with the first system but I am a sucker for customization) people. So I would
use the ME2 system that we currently have but tweek it so that we can customize
our character and have a feeling of accomplishment when we take down a huge
fortress. So just like in the current system you will be able to look at the
weapon/ armor of choice and load up expandable options. An example of this is
getting new sniper rifle barrel and you want to add it to your super awesome
gun. Well you would go to one of the weapon stations and replace the barrel
section. Replacing the ammo types from a power to a purchased item is just
necessary! For the life of me I couldn’t figure out why they had replaced that.
Similar things can be used to improve your armor, or you could just replace it
with a better system.
Missions becoming more
epic!!!
So I can’t stress that more! The current missions in ME2
feel like they are not very drawing or epic. As they stand right now they are
just a few minutes of bleh to give credence to having new squad members. The
other problem that shows up is like in ME1 you have good storyline missions but
the areas that the missions are located look exactly the same. So we need to
look at how missions are structured. Instead of bland missions that don’t
further the story we need ones that are more pushing the story and stressing
the action packed nature from the story mission in ME1. ME2 also had some
pretty killer missions that furthered the story and had a good deal of action.
Why they decided to pack the game full of bland missions is beyond me. A good
way to make the missions more action packed is by involving all your darn team.
The last mission required you to use the entire team, which was awesome idea.
We have over 10 squad mates and we only use 2 at a time. Granted we are going
to keep the three man system we have now but you could give the them a
different a objective to obtain. An example of this is like ME1 when your on
virmire and you have to attack the lab. You split up with other team, which
they have a goal to achieve just as you do. You can help them along with
certain actions and I think that should transfer. Depending on loyalty of your
crew depends on how hard they fight and the coordination of the attack. So in
effect if you end ME2 and your surviving crew isn’t loyal (don’t think it is
possible but hear me out) then you would have to fight to gain it because they
will not fight as hard.
Thinking about this mission structure logically you will see
that any military with its’ grain of salt has more than one team doing the
fighting for an objective. Why is Shepard doing it that way? If you involve
your entire crew and give a unique location majority of the time and you will
have a 10 out of 10 game.
Fighting needs tweeking!
I know that ME2 had a better handle on the fighting aspect
of the game but seriously we have see more than enough wack a mole style of
cover based shooters. Give us something new to the idea if your going to stick
with that. Personally I would like to vary up the combat to improvise what you
need to do to kill something. An example of this is using pull on a object so
it swings over to crush the guys you were trying to kill. This has you working
with your environment and spices up the combat an extra step. That being said I
will say this again ME2 was a better combat experience but needed to be fixed
even further than they went.
DLC that freaking matter!
I am willing to pay for DLC! Also believe me that I am not
complaining about overlord or any of the free DLC. But the apperance packs and
the extra squad mate DLC should have been free. They add next to nothing in
story, if they have a mission it takes no time to finish. The Kasumi mission
was short and to add insult to injury you only get one mission. Really bioware
she is going to be loyal to you just by doing one mission. All but one of the
pay for content was a slap in the face to loyal fans. I am not going to
complain if you take a few months extra to bring out a DLC that is bigger and
furthers the story. Right now if you finish the game you can go back to your
squad mates and they still talk as if they are about to die on the final
mission. And if you go back to the human representative at the citadel you get
the same old line. Also dealing with the Liara v Shadow broker thing, where is
our explanation? I would have loved to have a side mission where I have to hunt
down some stuff for her. I would have taken down the entire empire of lies for
her. But we get no such luck, well just yet anyway.
Again if I hear “don’t buy it then” I will tell you to GTFO
for trolling and for not furthering the conversation.
Lastly the vehicle
My only complaint in the current vehicle is the lack of
armor on this thing. It is like I have paper mache armor and if I get shot I am
going to be in a world of hurt. The maco took a hell of a lot of damage before
you died. It made life a bit easier but with the controls on it you would
understand the need for good armor. Also another thing that the maco had was a
secondary gun. The missiles are wonderful but come on guys give me something
cooler. My idea was a hover tank (that didn’t freeze up in cold temps. For the
love of god if your on a planet with no atmosphere then the tank would do
nothing.) with a pair of rocket launchers which do the same attacking as the
current system does but with a central cannon similar to the maco. This little
ball of death would have enough armor to take a few to the face but the
flexibility to float around the enemy while dealing massive amounts of
death.
So again any ideas on how to improve my idea then feel free.
I have read a good deal of forums and came up with a hybrid of ideas I have
created and others have thought up. I think it would make ME3 sell really well.
