 I'm fine with him not being a Warden even if I've got plenty of other complaints about what has been revealed thusfar.

The Warden story has been done, I wanna see something fresh.

Its named the Dragon Age because dragons were thought to be extinct but that thought was completely thrown in the trash when a High Dragon laid waste to a lot of people.

The Chantry named the current age the Dragon Age because of said High Dragon.

ok i get it now but darkspawn can still find leadership other then the archdemon

he meant dragon age without darkspawn is not dragon age like LoTR isn't LoTR without orcs and hobbits

Of course they could regardless of the choice in Awakening the disciples still go to the deep roads and could very well breed an army of some sort.

It would be interesting if the Wardens were actually the antagonist faction for a good part of the game.

No Hawke isn't a Grey Warden. He is a Ferelden General who creates a new elite commando unit called DA:Jones (A Real Ferelden Hero). They are going to be fighting against a terrorist organization named Adder headed by a megalomaniac named Steve who wears a lamp shade on his head.



Your companions will be Red, Serpent Eyes, Trail Gate, and other members of the Jones.



Dennis Quaid will be doing the VO for the main character.





Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

I'm glad that our protagonist is fighting for himself, for once.

I agree with this sentiment. Personally, I'm tired of storylines where the player is drafted into an elite organization of heroes. It's a tired plot premise, and BioWare needs to give it a rest.

I hope Darkspawn remain, after the events in Awakening I would be pretty disappointed if they all of a sudden dropped off the face of Thedas and even the Deep Roads... Now maybe not as the main enemies, but you should still be able go kick some dspawn tail in the Deep Roads if you want.

Since Hawks are going to "rise to power", we might not see much Grey Wardens in the game, as the tend to remain neutral with all political powers. Some dialog here and there and maybe helping them against some darkspawn as a sidequest, that is all I want out of them in DA2. DA:O was all about the Wardens, now on to reveal more about Thedas!
