Doctor Michelle said Tali came a few days ago with evidence about Saren which had him saying about Eden Prime. However Eden Prime happened only recently, less than 24 hours ago (Shepard was knocked out for 15 hours, add a few hours to get to the Citadel, it's still less than 24 hours). Even worse, she got the evidence even before that from a Geth from an Uncharted World

My point is ME1 has just as many plot holes as ME2, except ME2's plot holes are just unexplained stuff while ME1's plot holes are contradictions

Plot hole, BUT one way to explain it........

1) Shepard was out 15 hours or so.....1 day.

2) Travel time and docking time in Citadel.....possibly 1/2-1 day extra from Shepard waking...C-sec paperwork.

3) Udina delays talking to Shepard until the Council could be contacted and agrees to discuss problem...1-5 days for bureaucracy.

So with this it could be 2-7 days from the time of the attack, and since Geth share info across the network, Tali may have gotten the information the same day as the attack to the next day, plus a day of travel to the Citadel so she could have been hurt 2 days after the attack. So anywhere from 1-6 days earlier than Shepard looking for her, if you factor in cutscene missing info on delays. You think you cut over to the same day but really multiple days elapsed without notice.

Except many huge ME2 plotholes such as the "crew abduction" can not an will never be explained. And ME1 "contradictions" are just the result of absence of a presice time frame (which is good, compared to ME2 partial "urgency trigger" time frame that created way more paradoxes than it was supposed to solve).

And click here.
And here.

I dont see it as a plot hole as it is just a detail of time which there is no discernable concept of it. I think the word "plothole" is used a bit too much. it has to affect the plot directly! not the details of the plot. oh well...

A few more plot holes I discovered

1. If you don't recruit Wrex before you become a Spectre, he approaches when you try to leave the Citadel and you tell him Saren has lots of krogan mercs working for him. How could Shepard know this when you've never fought any of Saren's Krogan, you've never even heard of any working for him

2. Near the middle of the game, Ashley asks you to celebrate Armistice Day and later when the Normandy gets locked down Charles Saracino in Citadel: Our Own Worst Enemy says Armistice Day is coming soon

Shepard read an article about Saren in "Badass Weekly". It didn't say Saren went rogue, but it said that he was known to use krogan mercenaries.

Congradualtions! You scored one. No cookie, though, as we've run out of them about two years ago, when the first million of people "discovered" this "plothole"

I still have not figured out how the Council decides you think that Saren is going to attack the Citadel. Yeah, you find the location of the Conduit and the Mu Relay, Shepard believes that they're massing a fleet to go to Ilos. But when you get there, it turns out the fleet is staying at the Citadel to defend it from an attack... When do we figure out Saren/Sovereign are going to attack the Citadel?

And a Councilor even says "...If Saren is foolish enough to attack the Citadel, as you believe..."
