If I'm playing DA:O, I often miss IMs (and I play in a Window to keep the IMs from minimizing the game -- unfortunately, that precludes me from the 3Dvision stuff from nVidia, though I hear there's a monitor driver out there that will work in a window, but that it's not quite tested in 7 x64 yet).

I'm waiting on a very long install to finish (so I can regrettably work at home when needed) which makes the game hitch horribly while it's writing files and settings and updating.

What about you? Why are you here and not playing DA:O?

I am playing.....I come and terrorize the forums after missions....then back to manage toons and equip...then come terrorize again...I'm an Alt/Tab'bber.....

It's an action packed game that's energy draing, like an RTS.

It takes less energy to just talk about it.



Plus I want to talk about exciting things i experienced in the game and not have other people look at me and go "huh? wtf nerd." as with real life peeps who don't play DAO.

I just finished the game as a male human warrior. I want to play a male city elf rogue (because I really like that origin story), but the fact that they just plastered the tiny elf head on a human-sized body disgusts me to the point that I just can't do it.

Thats odd tantalus. When I played my elf as a mage, he was shorter then everyone, also when I played as a human mage later, i looked at the same story screenshots and saw that my elf character was noticably shorter. So for mine the height was scalled down, don't know if the width was scalled down porportionally.
