I will politely disagree. ME2 I played through once and never picked it back up. DA:O I've played numerous times. If DA2 is like ME2 I doubt I will even buy it. Just like I didn't buy Awakening.

mass effect 2 isnt the only game i think gets close to perfection, ocarina of time, bioshock, and uncharted 2 are also nearly flawless, but anyway all im saying is if they improve dragon age 2 over dragon age 1 as good as they did ME2 over ME1 it will be fantastic..im not saying they should limit customizing or looting but just that they improve flaws from the first game like me2 did.

Yep. Also interesting: a lot of people really despise Dragon Age, too.

thats because me1 purists freak out about there bieng no mako or armor sets, when they overlook the fact that the combat is better, the dialouge scenes are better, the hammerhead is better, the story is better, and the characters have better personalities

it's because the really big bioware fans that have been with them from the baldur's gate days or so aren't big fans of the action-rpgs and as such you are more likely to find people who dislike ME2 on the bioware boards.
However most of the general gamer crowd LOVES anything actiony and as such you'll hear everywhere else that it's great and better than both ME1 and DA:O

the combat wasn't better for me, i'm a terrible shot at FPSs with controllers/gamepads. the dialogue scenes were better ... unless you were forced to have a helmet on, also things happen like you trying to give your subordinate an order and suddenly you are insulting the ships pilot. there was no hammerhead when i played. Story and characters are indeed great.

personally i love EVERY game bioware has made...except sonic dark brotherhood for ds, but hey no one can make a good sonic game anymore so i didnt really care

I want it to be like DA:O, but even better. Hopefully there isn't too much changing going on. EA eventually managed to screw up Madden, so I keep my fingers crossed every time something gets "improved."
