I hope so, some kind of Morrigan expansion or dlc would calm alot of people down. I think its the fact that there is so many questions not awnsered which gets to people.Kaiser Shepard wrote...
They already told us that more Origins DLC is on the way.Solostran85 wrote...

Bioware already said she's not over and done with yet, and Gaider just mentioned today 'not to leap to any conclusions (about not seeing the Warden again)'.
Seeing as they are saying it's not the 2/1/11 release, it's possible we are getting one last Origins expansion which closes everything out.
Please Bioware more Morrigan! You already gave us leliana but we want the big picture now.

Change within the story mode (aka single protagonist compared to 6 origins) and some game system changes are nice and ok as the world of DA should support more different types then just the same for 6 games (arbitrary number example) completly the same style. Therefore, for me, it is ok to have just "one protagonist,. aka Hawke" as long as they don't throw everything else out with it ... as long as it is still "Dragon Age" I don't honestly mind if it is not "Dragon Age: Origins 2". While Origins are a nice feature but they are not the non-plus-ultra of gaming systems or story telling.
Anyway .. who says the Blight they are talking about was the Blight that we stopped, maybe it was a previous Blight. Who knows ...

Please ... there is soooo much of Thedas (locations, histopry, etc.) to explore don't stick too much to DA:O story wise. Some nice cameos, etc would be okish/nice but not more. I personally would prefer a DA:2 that broadens the whole story and not just extents it.

hmmm, that could be an interesting twist but then why isn't there any reference to it in DA:O
if it takes place before the events in DA:O
but i doubt it is since all the lore in origins point to it that the events in origins are the 5th blight and not the sixt

Umm ... must have missed that part where they actually said what blight it was Hawke survived.

really really hoping for Morrigan. I don't think seeing too many of the old companions return in DA2 to make important roles would be a good thing though. The game would be stuck in the past. But a character or two making returns would be good.
Perhaps Sten, another old favourite of mine (despite the terrible hair), would return from across the sea with his Qunari countrymen to invade Ferelden or some other nearby nation like Antiva or Rivain. He did tell our main character near the end of the game that he might do so one day, remember?
And learning what happened to our old Main character in DAO would be cool? What became of him/her after the events of DAO?? she/he dead by now? or gone, never to be heard from again?

not necessary ... at least in my oppinion. Overall it would seem to me more about "wishful thinking" then "logical" ... no offenence intented
I find things more interesting when some stories are never truely resolved instead left open, left as msyteries ... for the player/reader/character to "muse over" them.

i just think that bioware will try to bring back npcs from da1 because morrigan always ends up going into the same direction. not that i liked morrigan but i just cant imagine how bio want's to bring back any other npc.

Hopefully she'll be present in DA2, either as a companion or an npc.

BioWare have a trend with naming female characters; they all have extremely feminine names, most with the -a suffix but damn near all with soft, vowel endings. I mean look at this; Miranda, Liara, Samara, Leliana, Bastila, Mira, Kreia, Viconia, Nalia, Kreia and Jaheria all have the same last letter even, and Aerie, Mazzy, Tali, Juhani, Kasumi, Ashley, Mhairi also fit the pattern.
Then compare that to the male characters with soft-ending names; Alistair, Jolee. Hmm.
So feminine names for feminine characters, even if it's repetitive, what's the problem? Well, let's look at the females with more gender-neutral naming; Jack, Morinth, Morrigan, Visas. Do you see the connection here?
There is an overwhelming trend for 'nice', compliant female characters, especially romance interests, to be named one way, and for darker, more independent characters to named in another way. It's almost a cue for which characters the fans are meant to like and which ones we aren't. And which characters received the biggest fan backlash in the recent games? Oh yeah, Jack and Morrigan, although the Jack backlash died down once gamers realised that she is in fact a scared, vulnerable character. But people still don't like Morrigan at all. Hell, one of the most popular DA mods is one to slap Morrigan when she dares to speak her own mind. Say nice things or shut up woman, we want girly-girls who are lost in admiration at the main characters prowess damn it!
So what was the point of that? Simple. Morrigan bucks the trend when it comes to female characters. She doesn't have a feminine name. She kicks you out of bed and uses you for sex at will. She is independent, intelligent and has her own agenda, and even her personal vulnerabilities are something she deals with and acknowledges herself.
Most gamers think she's just 'a ****' but guess what; most gamers are idiots who want to be pandered to with the same old repetitive female characters. Forget them. Morrigan is a fantastic character who fits the dark, adult themes of Ferelden perfectly, and she still has a huge story ahead of her. You hit a home-run with Morrigan BioWare, for gods sakes don't lose her now.
