Morrigan or God Child, I am confident one will appear (especially since I believe they said it just after the release of Origins in an interview)

i don't think it is either one  since DA2 spans about 10 years the child will be something like 9 or 10  at the end of DA2
i don't know why everyone expects the child to be in DA2

i believe it DA2 starts shortly after the blight we stopped in Fereldin 
why else tell us that Hawke is a blight survivor hell, he might even been one of the guys holding the gates of denerim for all we know

i do however believe we will see some cameos like Morrigan ,Alistair , and Sten or Leliana
maybe the woman wynne?? they have said that we would be shocked when we find out whom it is 
for me finding out it is wynne would be a major shock:blink:<_<:innocent:

I very much doubt that either will appear. They still have a pretty long time for DLC in Origins, Morrigan took her baby to the Frostback Mounts--or she is in Orlais--too long of a distance from the Free Marshes, and I want to see new characters not some old characters that should soley belong to our Warden. If anything, this should be a brand new experience--Thedas (that's the world right?) is a very big place, and I would like to experience a lot more.

Dear Bioware,
While returning Morrigan to DA2 since she was comic relief and pretty much said a lot of the things I was thinking while participating in the game, I'd like to ask one simple request of you.

Please make more interesting male characters. Alistair was the only character in DA:O that had me listening to him at least because his story was ok. In the end, after I finished the game and started thinking about the characters I interacted with, I realized the only ones that were worthwhile were mostly female (Morrigan, Wynne, and Leliana). The other male choices, Oghren, Sten, Zevran...come on really? Oghren and Zevran were basically the same character with slight changes since their race made for such and Sten.............Sten......I wondered why didn't I just leave him in the cage to die. Give me more enjoyable male characters!

So yeah, I want to see this Old God baby and see what happens since that child can call forth the next Blight if tampered with by Darkspawn.

Remember this child will have the soul of an old god, so while they're 9 or 10, they would still likely be very powerful (likely a mage).  While I don't know if the I want the game to focus on them, I would like for them to appear.

I'd rather have Sten tbh, though Morrigan is kinda distinct. Even if everything she says kinda irks me.
