Could still be your Warden, you try to get more powerful, at any means. We know that Morrigan ( if you had the baby with her) has your child and you have to do whatever you can to protect it, could be a number of  ones after the god child, such as the two old gods left, the Maker won't want someone trying to change what he has done, the Tevinter Imperium,  the chantry.  You would have to rise to power to protect them both, man this makes for a far better story then what they have thrown in a barrel. In this you could get your old party back or find new people ready to change the world for better days.

To me part 2 seems rushed and it seems to me that the only way to make a part 2 this fast would be to make a new story, has to be, just does not even make any sence.  Hell you can flame me, at this point I just don't care.

hmm I actualy think continueing the story would be far the easier way to go for them than to create an entirely new one.

hmm btw..you actually know the story of da 2?

They should just rename Dragon Age: Rise to Power or something, because it's not a sequel from what we gathered so far.

Of course there is a new story. Have you even read the info on the game?

Not every sequel has to be a continuation of the same characters.

Well this will be the first direct BioWare sequel not to do that. Our disappointment isn't just random nerdrage and whining for the sake of whinig.

And what happens if you don't have a child with Morrigan? They make 2 completely different stories !?

I know that, but at the outcome of any of the storylines, she has a kid, so to me it seemed to center around that fact.

There was never any implication that you would use the same character.  I think it was always planned this way.  Many of us didn't want it to keep following the same storyline.

Wrong, he has a kid ONLY if you or anyone else had sex with her. If not, she leaves Ferelden to go to Orlais (I think it was Orlais)

Well, Baldur's Gate felt free to completely rewrite everything you did in the first one and pick what members you had.

I do remember the hitching-up-with-Mormor achievement being called 'A Dark Promise'.

I like my dark promises to be fulfilled, damn it!

Just to be clear, while they said that Hawke isn't Morrigan's child, that doesn't mean that Morrigan's story does not play a role in the new game.

It's a kept promise considering the Warden doesn't see her again.

Doesn't mean Hawke can't see her.
