Kind of dissapointed in what I have heard so far, but nevertheless i'll probably buy it.
Optimism seems pretty low on the forums regarding this sequel. I just hope there is SOME kind of connection to origins story or characters, even if it is small. If not then, The Witcher 2 might be a better choice for my next favorite rpg.

Its the same world and the new main character is a Blight survivor.  The Blight was the plot of the first game, so basically that forms the backdrop for the new game.

Almost no information has been released so far - almost all the complaints on this forum have been based on nothing.  The main exceptions are that the new character can only be human, and that you don't continue your old character.  But those are fine by me.

Indeed, it is evident from these that the game will ruin the Dragon Age franchise.

It's sad that Dragon Age 2 inspires people to give up their lives to troll. It's just a game, if you didn't like it, move on.
