Hmm... I think we need another book to set the story... Who could write such a novel?
Indeed, such a book would be quite helpful. If only we knew someone who was familiar with the setting, and could provide us more backstory without spoiling the plot of the game. But, no, that's too much to ask. Or is it?

Awakening started less than a year after Origins-- so there's still plenty of Age left to go after that point. More than half of it, in fact.

On a related note, out of curiosity, what year do you think it is when Origins ends? 9:31 or 9:32 maybe?

*I'm sorry BioWare but you created a meme beast in Mike Hawke*

As to who should author another book, David Gaider, guys, David Gaider. He wrote the first two, and very well done in my book. Go for it, David. I'll buy it.
The Dragon Age literary world needs someone new and exciting to introduce Dragon Age books to the new generation. We need a literary genius. We need Stanley Woo!
Mr. Woo, please write a Dragon Age novel for us. Thank you.

I also support the book-idea floating around here! *cough* *cough*
The previous ones were awesome, the first 2 books I ever completed, true story.
And they weren't even in my native language!

But the question is, does Mike Hawke's amazing rise from rags to riches start before Origins and the Blight? Or does Mike Hawke's long and hard journey to full power and strength only begin after the Origins Blight?

Hawke, Mike Hawke, is a refugee from the Blight. I think the assumption now is that it's referring to after the Origins Blight. I can't remember if the devs/EA have confirmed that, though.

Well there was only one blight during the Dragon Age. . . so . . . .

From a related viewpoint, that creates a thematic link between the two games, and helps to shed light on what Bioware is doing here. If Hawke (supposed to a major force in the world, or something, right?) is born in the shadow of the Blight, it sort of explains why Origins' plot is of continued importance.

On the subject of books what section would you find DA books hmm....?
I think they would be in sci-fi fantasy but I have never found them in my borders/b&n. Guess I should amazon them.

I found both books in the fanfiction/sci fi area of Barnes and Noble. If you see Star Wars books you're in the right area. If you can't find them, I'd ask someone who's trying to look busy.

I was thinking this to and I came up with two solutions.
1) Dwarfs breed like nugs, and give birth quicker than humes.
2) Oghren Obviously got busy with felsi when I glitched outside the tower and ended up in ocean....
3) It's oghren. End Of Discussion.
