Cry me a river. These threads aren't critical of DA2. They're made of and filled with trolls.

Threads critical about Dragon Age 2 have been open the whole day allowing discussion.

If they were irrelevant or redundant, then they would die a natural death. No need for censorship.

Threads like which ones, exactly? I've only seen one locked thread today, and it was locked because another thread with the same topic was running simultaneously.

Closing redundant threads is standard practice on the forum. Its not censorship if other threads are open to say the same things.

Because speaking ill of a game that has 2 concept art and a few lines of info is punishable by DEATH.

Be grateful these mods have mercy.

You underestimate people's capacity to complain.  If it's worth getting worked up over (and these are video games we're talking about, so it's obviously worth it), then it's worth posting term-paper-long dissertations on just how wrong it is in a dozen different threads.

Well he made it and that means it's perfect and makes complete sense. Those devs don't know a thing about modding a forum, I tell you.

The point is duplicate threads are not allowed, so please get used to that.

Because there are a ton of them. So many in fact that I'm sure I missed a few. Most forumites don't look past the second page and figure whatever they are concerned about hasn't been posted before. So they post it again. As long as your concerns are voiced in a way that isn't obviously spamming or insulting and your topic doesn't have a bajillion doppelgangers floating around, it's highly unlikely to get locked.

Thanks for clarifying.  I was truly mystified why my thread was locked.

We have cookies.

Or... they have cookies, at least. I'm on a break. Re-playing Dragon Age again.

We also will have forums forcing you to post with your RL name. Be happy you still have these.

Because they make up more than half of the forum, and there's already a thread for reviews.
Also, because mostly they're filled with angry people merely raging rather than actually being critical.

Critical threads = less $$ for Bioware and EA. Of course they're going to lock the critical threads.
