I really thought Dragon Age would be EPIC in that the characters you make would continue into Dragon Age 2 and Beyond. Origins was just that, the beginning, and we would be able to import our characters and past decisions and effects into newer Dragon Age games like Mass Effect 2 did with importing Mass Effect 1 decisions. What a bummer.
Well, you made a mistake, since Bioware never indicated that.
However, I don't see how Dragon Age is not epic as it is, and the minimal material they have given us about the new game sounds pretty epic.
Think about this way, the story is so epic, that Origins formed the background!

ha-ha making assumptions about a game we know next to nothing about is fun!
Well, gamers on the Internet are like bored monkeys. If you don't give us something to do or actual information about the game to gnaw on, we'll take what scraps of information we have and do crazy things with them. Most of which involve how EEEEEVIL the developers are and how it's a massive conspiracy of ****s, baby-eaters, and hate
EDIT: Really? The forums consider the political party related to Godwin's Law a curse word? OK. Am I going to get in trouble for linking this?

You thought wrong and against the grain of every single dev and writer that had been claiming "Dragon Age is a story about a world, not any single character living in that world" since before Origins was released.
Indeed
It was pretty much confirmed numerous times

Epic....fail maybe.
You know it would be unwise to walk into Rome and start shouting "I hate Italians!"

It is their fault for making me assume this.

Well there are BioWare games what has character transfer options (even BG2 advertised it for Neverwinter Nights lol, shame it didn't get real, the word epic couldn't do justice for that) but I can't recall a game of their what came with 1 billion dollars.

Should have listened to me when I said that wasn't going to happen.

SO just because Bioware uses a character for more then one games doesn't mean they will stop making that game.

Im glad they switched it up now we arent stuck with only a 3 game story and it being over and done with like ME. Now they can make as many games as they want and switch up while still sticking with the story. Your warden wasnt going to live forever obviously.
