OK, no one in non-spoiler forums has an opinion, so I'll ask here.

Is it a mistake not to kill the two people involved?  As in, given the kind of game this is, will it trigger a horrible consequence right around the epilogue?

No specifics, please.  Advice would be nice.

It would not be a mistake either way. I think killing the Leliana personage nets you some nice loot, though. The consequences for Morrigan's quest are left open to interpretation, I believe.

The loot is in the back room even if you don't kill her.  IMO it should be respecced as shortbow or crossbow given Georg's fix though.
