With the trailer coming up please restrain your marketing department from releasing a trailer with lame metal music and slogans declaring "this is the new sh*t".

It's rather embarrassing for a fantasy title.

Not a Marilyn Manson fan I see. But I do agree with your point.

By the way, calling his work "Metal" is about as unmetal as you possibly can be.

Seriously, we need some Justin Bieber in the trailers.
Maybe Bioware can call him in once he is back from North Korea.

It's the only way you can sell an RPG these days. Gore and ****** mate, it's like bacon for the masses, makes everything better.

As long as the trailer doesn't feature any form of detuned guitars and some twit screeching about his bowel movements I'm a happy camper.

Yeah, but out of the ashes rose the awesomeness that is Death Metal. YAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!

However, still not the best choice for a fantasy RPG video game trailer.

Use a thrash band, and i'll be happy, as long as the song fits...
<--- Shameless thrash fan.

Actually, I think it would be amazing if they had Nightwish do a song for DA2

@killingsheep24 : I think that you just insulted millions of heavy metal fans by defining Marilyn Manson as "heavy metal"

Just sayin...

"Hawke, the Archdemon is coming!"
<looks up, sees the Archdemon and gasps>
"Fight on, men!"
<two armies rushing to a battlefield, blood coated weapons in
their hands>

AND I WAS LIKE
BABY, BABY, BABY OH
LIKE BABY, BABY, BABY, NOO
LIKE BABY, BABY, BABY OOOH
THOUGHT YOU'D ALWAYS BE MINE, MINE

The Marilyn Manson track "This Is The New Sh*t" was only used to draw in mass appeal.

Everyone who was complaining pretty much represented everyone who Bioware WASN'T trying to grab with it being involved.

Its just an advertisement. Whether you like the song or not, it had nothing to do with the main game.

Personally, I hope they include a song JUST like it for DA2 advertisements.

I was thoroughly disappointed by the metal music in the trailers.

Chiefly because there was no metal whatsoever in the GAME!

Also, sad to see how little people know what New Sh*t is actually about. *shrugs and wanders off*

Yeah, BW should totally go for the 5 to 18 yr old age bracket....their sales would be through the roofs!

They should put Bieber on the cover, too.

But remixing that trailer was so fun...

I mean, who can forget the classic Five-O for Violence? Or the somewhat more recent Nobody's Perfect in Dragon Age?

I'm seeing them live with Dream Theater in Chicago on the 18th.

They don't really fit with the theme of DA though...

Link didn't update.  That's not what I wanted.  Correct link is there now.  Lyrically not so much DA, but musically pure evil.
