1st, Manson isn't heavy metal, I love metal and hate manson 
2nd, There are dozens of metal bands which tell in their songs epic  fantasy stories (Blind Guardian, Rhapsody of Fire, etc), so heavy/power metal isn't embarrassing for fantasy title

Yeah, I kinda got the impression that Chris Priestly was a good part of the marketing decision; At least, IIRC, he was the one responsible for the infamous Manson trailer. And maybe it worked, I don't know. Maybe they can make a case for the good sales numbers being due in part to the whole blood and gore montage that seemed like it ought to have been set to Grim Reaper. I just know it went a good ways towards completely destroying my hopes for the game and I was far from being alone in that (goony goons).
