Pff, I like heavy metal. Suits Darkspawn fine. In fact, I'd love to see some heavy metal music in game, as battle themes. Not something generic, mind you, but probably some fantasy-style music, remade as heavy metal.

WW is the best Prince of Persia game. But there are more reasons to that than soundtrack.Dave of Canada wrote...

Maybe the sequel will have metal IN the game. Because Warrior Within was the best Prince of Persia game...right?
God damnit, now I have the combat track from Warrior Within stuck in my head.

They should have used the DA:O's soundtrack for the trailer. It'd have fit better. Hopefully they do it for this new upcoming trailer instead of heavy metal.

With the trailer coming up please restrain your marketing department from releasing a trailer with lame metal music and slogans declaring "this is the new sh*t".
It's rather embarrassing for a fantasy title.
Ooooooooh, Ozzy Osbourne- Iron Man Or I don't wanna stop, both are fantastical

Marilyn Manson was a poor choice.
I do second those who recommend Ozzy Osbourne or Judas Priest.

Or Godsmack-I stand alone. When Hawke flees from Lothering, he sees everything and everyone he loved taken away from him. (S)He becomes cold, distant fits perfectly. Priestly, if you do this for me, I'll love you forever.

i kinda liked the advertising campaign, not a manson fan but i thought it fit the trailers perfectly. would have been nice to see a little in the game as well though. can't please everyone i guess!

I think this song would cover everyones needs, aswell as going very well with the Dragon Age setting!

Hero should be playing guitar with goth cheerleaders dancing, hardcore to max.

I'm a huge metalhead, but I don't want to hear it when I'm playing a fantasy game. I'd love to hear something like the Tristram Theme in Diablo for music. Something really atmospheric and spooky.
The main theme in Dragon Age sounded good, but the battle music was pretty bad. I hope they get someone other than Inon Zur to do the music - his stuff is pretty bland. A few good bits here and there, but man, there are waaaaayyyyy better game composers out there. Hell, a few of them have worked for BioWare on past occasions.

The trailer was part of the reason I bought the game. It wasn’t because it was blood and sex, or what your calling metal, (( MM metal LOL)) it was how unconventional it was. In this Lard of the Rings like game, was expecting a quire of people, chanting in some dead or simply made up language.
And than I got this epic speech, and than what was then the video starts screaming at me “ are you mother ****ing ready for the new ****!!!”
I was floored, I was not expecting it. I mean the trailer got me interested in Dragon Age.
And to be honest the song fit the game, the game defiantly went places other games simply wont.
I liked the marketing for the game, and would love to see more unconbentional marketing.
