Dragon Age 2?

If it plays too much like ME, then I don't know if I will be able to get into it. I still can't finish ME1, and therefore haven't purchased ME2, because the fact that my character sort of paraphrases my responses with their own voice just pulls me out of the "reality" of the game. I want to imagine my character's repsonses in my own voice. Not some paraphrased crapola from some VO actor who I don't even know. Blah. Just blah on all this nonsense.

Why call this game Dragon Age 2 at all? In my opinion, if it isn't a direct continuation of the story of the PC's Warden character from Origins / Awakening, it isn't DA2. Call it "Dragon Age: Fishsticks", or "Dragon Age: Some other Random Hero's Adventures That You Now Have To Start Caring About Instead Of What You Invested So Much Time In Caring About Before Now", or whatever - but to me it isn't DA2. My love for DA is profound, but now my interest in this game has dropped to zero. I'm not saying that is permenant. Perhaps future revelations, info, and marketing might change that, but I currently have zero interest in this game.

Becaues its the second game set in the Dragon Age series. Its not "Grey Warden 2" or "Origins 2". This whole complaint makes no sense.

Yes it indeed does make sense if we're talking about telling a cohesive story within a game and its sequels. This is the whole point of sequels. People didn't like it when Halloween 3 came out, but didn't have anything to do with any of the characters that preceded it. What if Godfather 2 didn't have anything to do with the Corleone family, but was about another Mafia family and therefore was a part of the "Godfather series" - which somehow in your circular logic would justify it. Talk about not making any sense. What if another Aliens movie came out that didn't include the Aliens from the other movies, just other dangerous and violent Aliens? This is what I mean when a sequel to DA doesn't have anything to do with your PC from the original, and perhaps not even with the Grey Wardens at all.
PS - I don't think that "sense" means what you think it means.
