I am wondering if Hawke is going to take the role of a Grey Warden like the player character in the first game and will this game be about fighting the darkspawn again?
Is Hawke a Grey Warden?

We know nothing about that at this time. I would hope you are not. Just to change up the story a bit.

I doubt it, for several reasons:
-Hawke is a survivor of the Blight, meaning he was both alive and in Ferelden during DA:O. The only Wardens who were both alive and in Ferelden at the time were the PC, Allistair and Riordan.
-The Blight is over. The Darkspawn shouldn't be a serious threat for about two centuries.

It would be kind of boring if we just did the same thing again.

Do we know that the blight he/she survived is the same blight in DAO? Or just a different one?

It would be intresting if this a prequel and about a prior blight

Hmm not too sure about that.. I just hope this isn't another Grey Warden story, that would be like the repetitive jedi/sith in KOTOR and KOTOR2.

I'd rather enjoy being a non-Grey Warden with Grey Warden companions.

How about an option of becoming one? If you want to join them, if not be on your merry way. Win win?

Hawke is in fact Duncan who gambled his fortune away in Ozammar.

But it would't be set in the Dragon Age then.

Yes and if that happens i hope theres an alternate story path. Like making that decision will actually have an impact.
