Okay, so there's going to be a Dragon Age 2.

This question has to be asked.

Are you ready for it?

Will there be griffons in it?

No seriously, do you guys think we'll get mounts in this game?  Griffins especially!

Do I need to make a group for this?  Griffons for DA2?  Who's with me?

I would have loved griffons to be in had we picked up our old warden's story. With the new not-warden, it would seem out of place to me.

By the Dragon Age, gryphons are extinct. DA2 is set in the Dragon Age. Ergo, no gryphons

1) We don't know that this is even going to be a Warden. For all we know Hawke is some person with a spirit stuffed into him/her.



2) Griffons are thought to be extinct. I don't think they've been mentioned so many times to never show up in the franchise at all. I think the devs are well aware that we all salivate a little whenever the idea of having our own griffon mount in-game comes up. And let's not forget that dragons were also historically thought to be extinct, and there's plenty of unexplored land across the in-game map.



I'm sad we can't pick up the old Warden's story, too, but, hey, I'm gonna be optimistic.



So griffons for everybody!

People thought that Dragons were extinct before the actual Dragon Age. So there may be a small colony of griffons hanging around.

You know Bioware set themselves up for this: Every time they put out a new DA game or expansion, I or someone like me will ask if there are going to be griffons in it. At least, we will until the answer is, "Yes."

I am betting this Hawke character won't be a Warden though.Which would make a pet griffon less likely for the char. *sad faces everywhere*

Griffons! Oh, pretty bird-lion-thing! I'd love to fly around with you, but I believe the mysterious forces from above *cough*BioWare*cough, cough* told me there were no Griffons. But maybe they were giving me a ladder to get off their back when I kept asking.



Ya'know, mentioning them Llamas and Gnomes, I still need to figure out where the Mysterious Gnome went. Where'd the hell the thing go? *Stalks off to go find it*
