Mainly? Disconected plot, no cohesion.
Only run into the collectors what, three times?
Im not one of the haters, but i see their criticisms as valid.
How often did we fight Saren, Sovereign or Benezia?
But we fought the geth a lot. I liked the collectors, and I wish we got to fight them more often.
This. Every main mission had the Geth, so we always had that sence. With ME2, there was too few missions with the Collectors and people forgot about them to the point where I consider the mercs the main villians in ME2. ZYes the emrcs make sence where we fight them, but there should have been more Collector missions.
Geth were cannon fodder, possibly the weakest enemies.
Not so much when you encounter the Collectors.
While they are encountered rather infrequently, the times you do encounter them leave some pretty good impressions.
You only fight the collectors two times beforte you go to there base. That's not right. There should have been more Collectors.
Only two times? Thank God, because Harbinger and all those scions can be a HUGE pain in the behind! Then a Pratoerian shows up and all goes to hell...
The infrequency of the Collector encounters coupled with the difficulty of their encounters (or at least 'harder' difficulty, might not be the same for some) added to the allure and threat of the Collectors: They are rarely seen, but when they are bad, bad things are going to happen. Worked well.
