I'd like to comment on box art.

If you don't mind me dipping into ME territory for a bit-

Mass Effect's box art was epic. It was just amazing, and really gave the feel of the game. I absolutely LOVE looking at it from time to time. Sends shivers its so epic.

On the contrary, ME2's box art was pretty bad in my opinion. It didn't give the feel of the game at all, and wasn't epic in the slightest. It just seemed corny.

Now then, away from ME, and onto DA-

DAO's box art was pretty good. I liked it. The art style stuck out.

For DA2, I'm not going to lie- I LOVE what I see on the website.

If that was the box art, I'd be very glad. Its familiar, but at the same time very different. I know Bioware's keen on changing the box art for their games, but I'm here to say I like what I see. I'm down with that being the official box art.


Of course, I'll be getting the Collector's Edition, which is bound to look completely different, but still.

Was wondering other's opinions on the matter.

I love ME2's CE box art. I have ME's LCE, and its box art is pretty much the same as the regular edition.

ME2 collector's was cool but between all the editions of the ME and DA games, this is my favorite of all of them. I really hope they don't change it because it is great!

I just love how Mike Hawke looks like he's ready to just destroy anything in his path.

Dragon Age has one of the better box arts as well as Awakening. If they keep or keep the general feel of the DA 2 box art they will show what is right in box art.

DA2's box art is amazing. So much mystery going on with the silhouettes and Hawke is a badass with his weapon and menacing glare. If we can look like that in-game I'll be a happy camper.

Yeah, I figured as much when David Gaider gave me a very vague answer through PM's.

The DA box art was so inventive. Same with ME2. I only see the trend continuing. This one just looks like Fable.

Well, from what I gathered from David Gaider, they WILL be changing it later on, as they've done with every game.



I just hope it retains the same level of awesome it has now.

Oh well if the normal version stinks(like ME2) then the CE will be just as epic.

Most likely. The ME2 and DAO had epic CE cases.

Too bad manufacturing on the DAO CE was horrible, so my slip case literally HAD to be ripped open to get at the case inside(frown).

ME2 didn't suffer from that problem, thank the Maker.

As for the DA2 CE, I don't know about you, but I want that mystery Dragon Woman on it.

Maybe the final version of the box art still has the blood dragon but doesn't have Hawke  It looks awesome the way it is now although we don't know what the alternative is.
