I have read numerous discussions about it.  Can someone confirm it?

I personally would like it to be canon as it gives for a future story/ game of Dragon Age.

If it is canon, and they confirm it, then they'll have just given away what's likely a major plot point for DA2.

Well I cant find the link but someone from Bioware said the human noble origin and morrigans romance was canon.

Would be nice to play as child of HUman noble and the canon is the human noble married anora.Then go fight for your throne?Would like to see it in Dragon age.Or may cheap mod of it if i can handle the toolset.

 Yeah, I'm sure they don't want to give away the canonicity of anything because it'd give away story points. I ask in this post here for just a yes or no on whether DA2 makes assumptions about DA1. I'm sure they can answer that, right?

What little info we have, that plus Awakening, seems to suggest it is.



What I want to know, however, is whether the Architect surviving or not is canon, or that both choices would be equally represented in future games.

@Zal: Truth, but I feel it's a request more likely of an answer-- Save transfer yes/no? Assumptions about canon yes/no?



Because I feel if they did in fact confirm a specific event was canon, it'd be assumed they were giving something away, even if it were actually trivial(for example, if Urthemiel Reborn is confirmed to have happend, everyone would just assume it's a character in the new game, when that could be saved for a novel or another sequel or who knows what else).
