Kela and I will happily take responsibility for this thread of silly.  BioWare's been blamed for enough silly stuff today 

Though really, I too am baffled at how silly the name sounds.  It looks fine written, I guess, but when pronounced, it gets pretty bad pretty quickly.

I thought we agreed his last name was pronounced H'a'we'ke?  That way when I name him Kamehameha I don't feel silly

Problem is that if you pronounce it that way, Black Hawke and White Hawke sound truly terrible 

Also, if it's being pronounced Hawky, the character should be named Momo Hawky so the game explodes from cute.  Props if you got that.

Silliness aside, I've occassionally used the name "Nathaniel Locke" in a few Renaissance/Pirate themed settings. As far as I'm concerned, "Nathaniel Hawke" is an acceptable little deviation.

Enjoy!  Though Momo was Kela's idea and not mine.  I just started watching Avatar literally a few days ago, and blew through the series.  I've literally done nothing but write articles for work and watch Avatar for a couple days straight.  Just finished the season three finale last night.

I personally think Hunt just sounds like the last name for a game like Alpha Protocol.  Nice generic spy name, but not very Dragon Age-y.  And it's still easier to come up with stupid names for Hunt (like Zombie Hunt) than it is for something like Cousland or Amell.

That's a new one.  Zombie Hawke.
