hmmmm......that scene kind of looks like the scene in the trailer.........

and, is the weapon Hawke's holding the staff-sword from the trailer?

if so, that would be the first visual confirmation that that weapon is actually in-game!!

The screen's too small... >.<
Though Hawke appears to be holding some sort of blade. If it's the staff from the trailer, I can't tell from this screen.

Well, this is all that matters as far as I'm concerned. My single biggest complaint about an otherwise pretty good game concerned how horrible it looked as then women walked around with their arms sticking out like they belonged on the short bus.

Can we try not to look like we belong in the sequel to the Starwars Lightsaber kid youtube video this time around? Granted, I'm pretty sure most don't wear anything in the headslot, but I think that's primarily because we look better without wearing any of the monstrosities that call themselves helms and cowls. Fix that please. :P

As for everything else, I'm sure it'll be fine. It'll be another Bioware game with a list of objectives to complete rolled into recruiting characters for your party in order to fullfill your final objective. The only minor improvement that I think is realistic in asking for here is to hope they hire more voice actors so it doesn't seem like I'm talking to the exact same male human or male dwarf every time I speak to a male human or dwarf in the game; not to mention since Bioware seems to use the same voice actors across all their games, the voice acting starts to seem really homogenous to me. Minor complaint, but something I think can be realistically fixed. Please! :)

And flowing hair+armor = win. I hope that by "certain circumstances" they mean wind and/or running and not only cutscenes.

I highly suggest listening to Lazin himself on the companion part...it was difficult to come up with a way to word that. It shouldn't be read that companions romancing other companions is now confirmed, but it's not off the table either. And for all I know, they just discussed it over dinner and decided not to do it. It was worded kind of strangely, but there does seem to be something there.

Peter Thomas' answer to that was that, being a non-player character, class-restrictions didn't apply to that Qunari.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I have a feeling that the graphs will get much better by the time of release. Specially for PC version. They also shown some pics of the making of DA:O and then the release, the change was huge.
This might be the same case :)

Does anyone know if there'll be a 'film grain' option, like that in Mass Effect?



I don't have a 'great' system (and getting a new PC or an upgrade still isn't a certainty) and having something like that may help offset my system's shortcomings in terms of the visuals on-screen.

Lol totally agree. our characters do like stupid hunched over while like crab walking over the the enemy and the mage cowls look awful and only some heavy helmets like good. the leather helmets look pretty dumb too. Make there an option to appear without a helmet for some people who like their hair out cause it looks better

I call it fanservice, people now have a base on the female qunari appearance. Its like if we all knew how Tali looks.
I bet we will see them in DA3.

They'd follow the qun so it'd be the same as a male qunari. (why do people keep asking that?)

Or the Qunari could have dual-wielding warriors.

Because that doesn't really look like a rogue to me. Unless rogues dual wield battleaxes and swords in DA2.

Mages are less muscular? Hmm, interesting. I really like this idea, it makes good sense too, considering they are nowhere near as involved in physical combat as warriors or rogues are.

By the looks of things good ol' lady Aveline is shaping up to be an Amazonian woman in terms of size and muscularity, from what that one screenshot reveals however she is still very pretty, so that's good. :)
