That's disturbing.

That's very disturbing.

It's not that bad...it just takes a really, really long time.  Something like the character in my avatar is about two weeks in.  I have a friend who will have a full-on beard in the same amount of time, so it's a sore subject.  I never get to participate in beard-growing movements, like during the writer's strike!

Why am I lamenting about my facial hair on an internet forum?

lol well, this discussion has gotten long.
I'm not sure where I got my hair color..its more reddish..but my mom's
brunette, and my dad's blonde..[smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/uncertain.png[/smilie]
I also don't know where I got my height genes..
Stupid DNA...:pinched:

Ok I see that you can make your Champion either male or female but can you also change his/her color? My toons all look like me (Black). Will that option be present in DA2?

Oh, the discussion about hair is now finished!:D I am glad.
I think, you can change all parts of his face.

Ha ha ha. So, our family will have the skin colour of our character? Excellent! I lol'd at my dark brown character having white parents in DA:O.

I want to know if Alistair will be in it :P

Steve Valentine said via Twitter that Alistair may be making a small appearance in DA2.

:P :D  <3

Posted Image  Is he allowed to say that?

Well, whether he is allowed or not he did it.  I wouldn't imagine that he would Tweet something that he isn't supposed to.

He later tweeted that he did lots of fun stuff, but that the doesn't know if it interweaves with the story, and that there's definitely less than in DA:O. (slightly paraphrased, but basically the same words) There may be less, but this still makes me happy.

Thanks, just replaced the old one.

Pretty slow news week, but updates may be delayed in the future as well, at least during the first half of the week. Just started a new job with 12-hr shifts, so I'll have to squeeze all my forum-reading/game-playing/thread-updating time into my days off. Just FYI.

What happens in Highever, stays in Highever....

OT: Nice to see Alistair might make an appearance. Even his small cameo in Awakening was awesome.

That all our decisions made in DA1 are going to the trash can on DA2.

Why?
1) Dragon Age: Origins screenshot
2) Dragon Age: Awakening screenshot

On DA:A you have the option to create a totally new and unknown Grey Warden or import you DA:O character.

The screenshots are from save files of my main character, in the ending of both games (I blocked any spoiler). DA:O has a "post-campaign save", but DA:A doesn't. Now I don't think that BioWare would want to make the customers of DA:A insatisfied by allowing the import of key-decisions of DA:O plot but ignoring DA:A plot.

I'm not unsatisfied. I loved the original game and the expansion, they are the best PC rpgs that I ever played, but it kinda sucks to read something like this on DA2 site:
Key features:
1) Embark upon an all-new adventure that takes place across an entire
decade and shapes itself around every decision you make.

I don't know if it's already been pointed out, (probabaly has) but I will note yet again since so many always ask this or missay it.  By the time yo fight the final boss in Awakenng, all decisions have been made.  You don't have the choice of not fighting the final boss, and none of the conversation you have with him/her changes anything that happens, so there is no need for a post-game save like there was for Origins.  Golems of Amgarrak is the same way.  However, Witch Hunt DOES have an after game save (if yours doesn't, get the latest patch 1.1 to fix it) because your interactions with Morrigan after the final boss fight DO matter.

Yes. The only decision you have made in DA:A was saving or destroying... (spoiler?..) mmm... A one city.
But DA2 has no relationship with that.

I've not got Awakenings for PS3 and my PC is dead at moment so can't confirm it from PC PoV but whilst I know Awakenings allowed you to import a dead Warden (due to being able to take an earlier save), has there been any word yet as to whether the 'auto-save' created as the coronation cut-scene kicks in after a Warden Sacrifice will be a useable import in DA2? (seeing as it is the only save that will indicate the Warden made the sacrifice unless you went back and made a different ending).
