But seriously. You can get a decent gaming PC for even far cheaper than that. Still, I understand not even being able to afford that. I bought the Xbox version of DA:O first because I couldn't afford a better PC and didn't want to wait any longer after five years. I eventually got the PC version after building a better computer, and I don't think I could go back to consoles if given the choice. Still, the console versions are far better than no DA:O at all, right?
Computers require an upgrade every 3 years, more or less, if nothing happens to it till then.
Consoles can stand longer time without needing replacement, and I think it must be awsome playing a game like this in a huge TV screen.
I allways had a computer and I would't choose any other way to play games, though it pisses me off when I want to play a certain game and I can't because it doesn't exist for PC.
I don't know about others, but DA:O was really favoured for the computer version, the mods toke the cake and I believe the graphics were better too.
Some games totally fry our hardware if we aren't carefull, Crysis is one of those, hell I hate to play games in low/medium graphic options, I tried it High and I believe a could cook a meal in it after an hour or two.
Consoles are like tanks, they can sustain a lot of pressure.
So the only down thing in all this is if a company decides to make a game only specific to a console... like Fable 2.
