As much as I want to, I am absolutely sure that the Warden will be mentioned at best and won't be seen at all. The Warden is pretty much yourself, and how can BioWare put in a character that can pretty much act like everyone here in this forum? Its just not possible right now.



I'm glad they announced Fenris and I'm not sure about everyone but I hope that he is a warrior, its good enough that Varric is breaking the stereotype of Dwarven warriors by making him a rogue and I think the same needs to be done to our elven companion, no mage or graceful rogue.

So I've been getting some odd e-mails recently requesting access to the transcript for Episode 5 of the DA2 podcast, and I've been meaning to look into why all of a sudden people were doing that, but I've been procrastinating pretty hard, as I am wont to do.

Anyway, I finally went there myself and I saw this:

"The published version of this item has been flagged as inappropriate and can no longer be shared."

Erm...okay? Apparently Episode 1 has been flagged as well, but not 2-4. I "requested a review," but if, for whatever reason, they uphold this thing, then I'll find someplace else to host them. If all else fails I have a domain name I registered but haven't yet used and some hosting space; I'll just put them up myself.

I can't understand how they could possibly be considered inappropriate. But if anyone here is among those who've requested access, they should be up soon, in one form or another.

You have just as much (if not more) control over your hawkes appearance as you had in origins.

It's exactly the same as DAO, except there's a "default" face that can't be altered. If you don't want the default, you can use the preset faces and alter those, as in Origins.

Since Aveline and Fenris seems to be using sword and shield, as their fighting style, I think its a safe bet that we will get at least one companion that uses a two-handed style as well. I hope its a real brute!!

I expect Fenris to use a two-hander, personally. One of the screenshots shows a particularly large hilt extending beyond his ear. While the still of the animation itself might evoke a dual wield strike, the appearance of the weapon is pretty clearly a two-hander.

Could be. I thought he was holding a shield in his other hand, in one of the pics. The pic was kind of dark though, so I might be wrong.

The system requirements are odd. Judging from videos and screenshots the visuals and interactivity of the world are generations behind Crysis, yet the hardware hunger is about equal. Well, not that it was different with Origins...

hey sorry if this has already been answered somewhere but will we be able to replay our hawke again like in mass effect. finish the game and start it again on the same level or will it be like origins?

Someone on the previous page mentioned there's a rumour the DLC companion is a warden, so that's what I was asking about. <_<

Carver uses a two-hander.
