I want to know if I can put freckles on my PC. I wanted so badly to do that in DAO. Also, I hoped they fixed the "fish face" the blokes get when you put a beard on them.

The only thing I remember is that his mom is a former noble and that they reside in Lothering. Nothing about him being a farmer. We arent saving the world this time either, which is a good thing, imo

Well....if you don't like how Dragon Age II is looking....why are you here? Hey, I'm not sayin to leave,. it's not up to me how you choose to waste your time.
And also, it's not continuing with DA: Origins story because everyone's Wardens were different. It would have taken BioWare way longer to make that than Hawke's story. They'd have to morph the game to whatever origin/race/class you were in Origins, the choices you made, who you romanced, who you were friends with, etc. It would just take too long. The point of Hawke's story is to get away from the Warden and play as an entirely new character with a different story. This also makes it a good starting point for anyone who didn't play the first one because, like I said, it's a new character and story.
And nobody ever said that Hawke was a farmer.
And there's no point in complaining about the story of a game that's coming out in about 2 months. It won't change a thing.

Hawke could be a farmer, but how is that anymore pathetic than, say, a casteless dwarf? An elf from the filthy slums of a city? Or even a mage who has no control over their life thanks to religious fanatics?
You want to play someone who's already an established hero, go play Mass Effect. Dragon Age sponsors the "rise from nothing" heroes.
Other than that, uhh, keep on trollin', good buddy.

Um, sorry, Fable 3 sucked. It was a horrible game that I completed in hmm, 3 hrs? Really unoriginal storyline and the whole look of the game was very “cartoony”. The only thing that really redeemed the game was the excellent voice casting – Stephen Fry, Simon Pegg etc. But in all, it just wasn’t a good game. The DA franchise at least has good writers that pull you into the story and make you, to some extent, care for your characters.
And awesome that Merrill will be a companion, but would be a lot more cool if Sandal was an active participant as well.
