Okay. What I mean is, I'm browsing the forums and I read a thread called "Is it possible to solo DA2?". In this thread, the question is asked and re-asked and bumped several times. The answer that is just about the best possible answer you can get at this point ("probably") is given.Arttis wrote...

How could anyone possibly know for sure?
Then in this thread, it is asked again moments later, along with this:
"*sigh*
Its almost no longer worth looking at DA2 forum now."
And in another thread, something about "not liking the devs right now," which I can only presume is related.
So when I asked how anyone could possibly know the answer, I was attempting to figure out your hopes for this question. Do you want someone to say definitively "yes" or "no?" Because no one apart from a dev can reliably do that, and even then I recall seeing a discussion about how even the devs' answers on the subject were unreliable in the past.
So I guess I just don't know what you want us to say. If I knew, I would say it.

THe OP has the question whether or nto we can leave our companions at camp and if we are forced to take some along. These were some of my concerns when DAO was coming out and now the same concerns come up now.SirOccam wrote...

We entails me, so I stated I
Reasons? Really? I'd love to hear the reasons considering about a page of info has actually been released about the game. Not to mention reasons would = you having something to complain or applaud about. Jumping to conclusions = not having all the information and beginning to make assumptions about something you don't fully understand.

We means more than just you.
They may not seem signifigant to you but for some people it will greatly effect how they play the game.

You are correct we means more than just me, but it does mean that I am entitled to my say does it not? It does "include" me as I stated before.
I know what people are unhappy about, but it has been stated several times over that the DA:2 wheel while similar is different than the ME wheel.
From another thread:
David Gaider
I would suggest that you wait to hear exactly what our approach is
before trying to figure out whether it's what you're interested in or
not.
People appear to be acting as if the scant details
we've revealed are all they'll ever learn about the game ever, and
they're thus required to render judgment immediately.
You're
really not. You might, in fact, want to see exactly how we're
implementing these features you dislike and seeing for yourself whether
they differ from, say, Mass Effect's. There are similarities, of course,
but there are also differences... and to assume you know everything
about how the game is going to feel based off the most cursory of
information is just going to make you look foolish.
Perhaps
in the end DA2 won't be for you after all. That's fair. You should be
able to judge prior to actually playing it-- there will be information
galore available prior to its release, I'm sure. But if you want to have
questions asking the "why" regarding our approach taken seriously, it
might be sensible to wait and see what that approach is first.

I simply said that I know everyone is jumping to conclusions. Your the one that started in on me. You said theire were reasons. Obviously there are no reasons. People are still jumping to conclusions and making assumptions and I know that much.
Since I have now shared it with the collective as a whole, WE now know that everyone is jumping to conclusions about the game.

Obvious troll is obvious. She directly quoted a developer in defense of her stance, and you're disregarding it. I find it hard to believe that you're more intimate with what's going to be in the game than the lead writer.17thknight wrote...

What was done was a list of quotes that actually made SENSE from the devs was posted.
That's not defending the game. That's a suggestion that instead of slandering it or being incredibly worried, maybe the masses should wait to have more than 5 sentences before the judge the final product.

Saying "you can't question us until the game is done" is a logical fallacy.
They have already and explicitly listed numerous things that are real concerns and gripes.
1. No origins.
2. Forced to play as "Hawke"
3. The godawful dialogue wheel from ME
4. No alternate races
Complaining about these things, for the numerous reasons that have been listed throughout this forum site, isn't wrong simply because "the game isn't finished". What level of completion will make someone want to play as "Hawke" if they simply do not want to play as "Hawke"? None. There is no point in the development of the game where this will become more appealing.
It's as if someone disliked that the game was in a fantasy world and you said that they should wait until it's more finished or they have more information. No further amount of information will make the idea more palletable to someone who dislikes the basic notion.

Reason being no origins. This is fact.People loved Origins while some did not.You claim people are just jumping to conclusions.I will say this I played the Origin stories many times.I liked them.Taking them out means less replayability for me.Thus I dislike the new game a little bit more.
There reason and no jumping to wild conclusions.
If you have reasons then your have complaints or your applauding the game. I have no problems with that.
It's all the wild assumptions people are coming up with that I am referring too.
