I'm on board with this sequel. It seems to be addressing the problems I had getting into Dragon Age as much as other people did. Don't get me wrong, loved the game but really never felt the need to play through it again.
"# Go deeper into the world of Dragon Age with an entirely new cinematic experience that grabs hold of you from the beginning and never lets go.
# Discover a whole realm rendered in stunning detail with updated graphics and a new visual style."
Cinematic Experience was one of my gripes with Dragon Age. The Cinematic quality just wasn't what I wanted out of a game these days. Also, the Aesthetics, really didn't care for them. All the brown, brown, brown.
Also, I support the narrower character focus. I know most people don't, and saying so won't win me many friends, but I like it. I'd prefer playing a Commander Shepard type whom I can bend to my decisions, personality and sense of morality, then I do a generic randomized hero.
Oh and please don't insult my intelligence or "elite-hardcore-able-gamer-ness" over this opinion. I know many people don't agree with this opinion on this site and that's fine. I've already given this opinion a lot of thought and I don't see myself changing my mind. (I've tried forcing myself through another play through of Dragon Age and I just don't have it in me. It's a great game, but I just don't have the urge to play it over and over again. I just don't feel the same enthushaism about it as other gamers.)
Just want to say I've got nothing but positive feelings about this so far.
