i agree with jojimbo .on the one hand i cant understand why did they changed the appereance of the dark ,on the other hand like SirOccam said there is a good chance that there will be some changes.

It would be good if you could add a date for each update next to the particular item. The OP is increasing in the size of material available and that would make it easier to come in every so often to pick up the new parts.

Dragon Age 2 is pretty much exactly like origins, just with a slightly different look, a voiced character and slightly tweaked gameplay, the gameplay will not be as drastically different as some think and the ONLY difference in customizing your character this time around is you can only be human. All the changes seem to be for the better in my opinion, except the look of the Darkspawn and Ogre, but who knows if enough people **** they might change them back they are doing just that for Infamous 2.

You realize Wikipedia is edited by fans like us, and that if we don't know something, they don't know it either?

We know Flemeth returns, and we have gotten hints about Alistair.

That is a greatsword not a javelin.

I still say they are missing an opportunity. Call this game "Dragon Age: Free Marches-The Rise of Hawke"

Follow up with an actual sequel that makes the masses happy, ie: people get to pick races etc..., they get 2 games to sell, we get 2 games to play. I've said this before, making the game without the Grey Wardens as a playable character is akin to making a Star Wars sequel with no Jedi.

But it is stil early, and regardless because it has the Dragon Age name I will mindlessly buy it of course!

I don't think there's been any official word on that one way or the other.

Hi all

I´ve been reading this post from the begining and first I want to thank Sir Occam for it, is very enlightening.
I understand the concerns of many people about the changes in gameplay, graphics, a single race main character, etc.
What I want to say is that we know very little about this game (next to nothing I´m affraid, as Leliana would say) so I don´t find it logical to jump to conclussions based on that very little info.
We must accept the fact that Bioware is telling us the story of another character whose only connection with DA:O is that he fled Loithering before the darspawn overrun it, as we know so far .
The name of the game is Dragon Age 2 not Dragon Age Origins part 2.
Let´s give time to time, is seven long months (maybe more) before the game is released.
In that time many things can happen.
Bioware is known for its excellence in making RPG games so I have a blind faith in that they will not let us down, because they know that they have a lot more to lose than any of us if they do.
I thank in advance all the people  who might agree with me, and to those who don´t all I ask is: "Please don´t shoot the piano player"
