Ok now this article has me worried, i knew that their was a narrator but i had no idea they might actually be embellishing the story so you will never really know whats true and what isn't and if Hawke is really as powerful as you might feel you have become.

I'm not sure how this thread keeps getting unstickied but to the other mods, I am the one who keeps sticking it to the top. It's the single most informative thread in this entire forum and the more people that read this, the less we'll have silly uninformed threads popping up every 10 minutes
Dont think it will stop people making those silly threads even when this thread is stickied and at the top of the page they still get made

I assume the reason that it is called Dragon Age 2 is because it is in the Dragon Age world and covers the same events plus other events from a different (Hawke's) perspective.
I would also assume that since Hawke fled Lothering he may have encountered the Warden's party and maybe interacted with Sten (while he was caged) and Lelianna.
Or maybe he arrived at Lothering after the Warden's party. I wonder if Bioware is going to weave this into the story.

according to wikipedia alistair and flemeth will be in DA2!!!
Sounded like Kathryn Janeway in the demo, too, but who knows if they have the main cast back at this point.

Stanley Woo was on a locking spree last night when it came unstickied, so he's probably the one who did it yesterday. Perhaps changing the title of the thread to "Frequently Asked Questions" would help in letting people know that there's valuable info in here?

Request to OP: Can you please add dates after each line when it was updated, this will help finding the latest update faster. So you dont have to read the same things over and over again.

I´m not sure if it was mentioned before, but the German gamona side tells, that also gamers on the PC there won´t be able to zoom out to get an tactical overview, because it would make fighting details and animations hard to see and rise hardware requirements. Instead better camera views were promised:

Oh boy, I sure hope thats not true....the ability to zoom as you pleased was great on the PC. I'm calling rubbish on the whole "hardware requirements" angle. I'll stop talking before I nerd rage on such a little bit of info..<_<

Sure, but I don't think I'd be able to make it retroactive. Would it be sufficient to put a big "NEW!" label next to the most recent stuff (or maybe just make the most recent updates in boldface)? Otherwise dates would be just as easy, except that the stuff already there as of now wouldn't have them.GurkBoll wrote...
The grafic style of those reminds me alot of Gothic 3.

It has some interesting information about the game and some images they say are concept art and no actual screenshots.
I think the article is worth reading

sorry, i made one of those silly uninformed questions... but not anymore thanks to this post... thanks for stickying...
i think i know enough about the game to be more excited for it than i was after finishing the last expansion...
despite the worry and complain about the new story-telling direction, i for one applaud these ambitious changes...
this actually feels like a game on its way to becoming a revolution in Western fantasy RPG gaming...
no more tolkein-like high-fantasy designs, and a narrative encompassing multiple timelines and viewpoints... sounds pretty cool so far
