Also, has there been any info if the camera angle will be altered from DA:O? IF it's going to be of a perspective of Hawke than I would like to see a more over the shoulder like camera angle. Although whether that kind of camera would work or not depends on how the combat will be handled.

There has been no word on the camera angles so far, but the top-down view thingy on the PC version may be taken out; it is still being decided.

The fighting, from what I gather, will be more 'action' oriented in the sense that it will be more fluid. So, say, if you order a companion to initiate a spell/move, they will do it immediately, instead of there being a weird two second delay.

Unfortunately, you need to eventually own something to "consume" it. Even if you were to buy this, you're not discussing anything; you bash, you troll, you whine, but you don't commit anything to an argument.

Yes, That is right. You don't have to buy it. So stop filling up the thread with unrelated whine on all the reasons you are not buying it. This thread is for update dicussions not your reasons NOT to buy the damned thing. There is many threads people have started in relation to why they will not be buying DA2, why not go there and leave this one alone?

 There better be a kick arse storyline if there's no "Morrigan & her god-child" plot or delve deeper into Grey Warden mythology. I mean the Grey warden story, viewpoint and the origins of races was completely awesome.
Thats a pretty hard reputation to live up to if its just a dude and his/her sister on an adventure or something.

I actually like the idea that there's no epic good vs. evil last hope for mankind storyline, I think it will make the game more refreshing and allow the player to identify with Hawke and the characters.

I'm very excited to hear how this will play out concerning the ten year timeframe. Well, we already can sort of piece together that escaping Ferelden will encompass a big chunk of change.

Being stickied is not some sort of honor that is bestowed upon worthy individuals. I wish it were.

Regardless, the more time you spend on these forums, the more irritating it gets when a person fresh off the block jumps right in and starts raging about it.

Here's something original, I hate Morrigan that icy ****, I happily refused her dark ritual, and I could care less about my Warden not being in DA2, because in most of my playthroughs he/she's dead, and the only one in which my Warden is alive is my Cousland whose married to Anora, and doesn't give a rat's ass about what happens to Morrigan. On that note, I agree with you Sir and encourage you to keep updating this great thread despite those whiners.

Once again, stickied is not a gift given to us for being sweet, endearing human beings.

SirOccam does us all a huge favor by keeping this list updated, and he's one of the most reasonable people on these boards. Don't be so righteously indignant--yeah, maybe he didn't say it in the most politically correct way you can, but spend enough time here with people shouting left and right the most wild speculation and insults and theories that are just plain wrong, you'll get fed up.

I'm fed up with the redundancy of people who refuse to accept this most base element of the game. It's not going to change. You're not going to change it. You don't have to like it, you don't have to buy the game, but why do we keep having to hear about it?
