Yes best leave it there or for sure it will turn into a bring your own kleenex thread. To be honest I have never read any of the fan fic and the only mods I use are stuff like skip the fade. No sorry, I did read one fan fic and walked away very disturbed....VERY!

There's nothing wrong with fanfic per se.  Or even the kink memes.  To each their own; just be aware that there are some...shall we say...interesting preferences out there?  That require gallons of brain bleach?

I don't get it. Hawke is from Ferelden, the Aeducans held the dwarven throne pre-DA:O and during the fifth blight. Unless of course if Varic is from Kal Sharok but that's way to the northwest between Anderfel and Orlais. How did he meet him?

Maybe he became king* later in his life?  I too am curious about the details though.

*Assuming he actually is a king.  Also, he could be a "king" in the crimelord sense.
