Now I feel sad that the information I put was not at least under speculation. Guess will have to wait for the website to catch up to the Gameinformer magazine. its cool.
I assume this is the post you're referring to?

I will add some information I found out about DA2 to your post I got from reading Gameinformer. (I'm Subscribed)
2. The game seems to be based before, during and maybe after Dragon Age: Origins.
3. The game play will actually be different between PC and consoles (classic DA for PC, actionrpg for console)
4. Morrigan may make an appearance (The original quote was under the line "Morrigan's story not done yet")
5.
Companions still as talkative and fleshed out as in DA:O. Difference
now is that even if they don't like you, they will still stay in your
party. You can be hostile to them even. Though if they don't like you
they would "...try to show you up."
6. There are now melee
combination moves as there were magic combination moves. This also means
that magic has finisher endings as well.
1. No number 1?

2. This point is reflected in the following entries:
Events from Dragon Age: Origins may be seen from a different viewpoint [GameInformer print article]
Hawke lived in Lothering during the events of DA:O, fled north to Kirkwall [Five Facts]3. I could have SWORN that was in there at some point. It may have gotten lost when I reorganized the list, or perhaps I held off due to phrasing or the fact that there's no link. I'll take a look at the scans and add something.
4. The Morrigan thing...eh, it's been discussed a bunch elsewhere. Suffice it to say I don't think it's enough of a DA2-related "fact" to include it there. "Morrigan's story is not done" is way too vague.
5. This one I know was in there, but I don't remember why I took it out. I'll add it again.
6. This one definitely slipped under my radar. I remember hearing it a bunch of different places, but never got around to adding it for some reason.
I think the main thing with the GameInformer stuff is the lack of a link, plus it's not always phrased in a way that's easy to quote or in a way that leaves no room for misinterpretation. I'll take another peek at the scans and see what can be added. Like someone else said before, I looked at that stuff and went "well we already knew all of that" but I never checked to make sure it all made it into the list. Thanks for the heads up.
*ponders yet another reorganization*
