And you'll be
In a world of
Pure imagination
Take a look
And you'll see
Into your imagination
We'll begin
With a spin
Traveling in
The world of my creation
What we'll see
Will defy
Explanation
If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Wanta change the world?
There's nothing
To it
There is no
Life I know
To compare with
Pure imagination
Living there
You'll be free
If you truly wish to be
If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Wanta change the world?
There's nothing
To it
There is no
Life I know
To compare with
Pure imagination
Living there
You'll be free
If you truly
Wish to be

seriously, I love all BW games. I play KOTOR, JE and DAO all lovingly. But playing DAO after ME1 was grueling. Just knowing that my player character could and should have been voiced but wasn't was particularly painful. I know you're getting raged at by a lot of people who say you're just "mass effecting" the DA franchise. and I say, good. It is a good game design choice and I thank you for making it.

while i also liked every Bioware game in their own time, the standard for games awaited by the people rises every year, if Jade Empire 2 would be made (what I hope will be announced soon) I myself would also await from it allowing full character costumization and not just premade characters, including option to costumize the clothes/armor of the character (color, design), or atleast ingame allow it to buy multiple clothes to swap them.
We are in the 21st century, and it is a shame that games like Saint's Row 2 or even Baldur's Gate have options that are not included in modern rpg games despite that they would fit in those better.

Oompa Loompa doom-pa-dee-do
I have a perfect puzzle for you
Oompa Loompa doom-pa-dee-dee
If you are wise, you'll listen to me
What do you get when you guzzle down sweets?
Eating as much as an elephant eats
What are you at getting terribly fat?
What do you think will come of that?
I don't like the look of it
Oompa Loompa doom-pa-dee-da
If you're not greedy, you will go far
You will live in happiness too
Like the Oompa Loompa doom-pa-dee-do

I love that song!
Johnny Depp be damned, Gene Wilder is the greatest!
Actually you know what, this is the PERFECT EXAMPLE!
Bioware, sing this song and realize sometimes you get it perfect the first time out and all you have to do is the same thing over!
You dont have to re-invent the wheel

Anything but catastrophe
But suddenly I begin to see
A bit of good luck for me
'Cause I've got a golden ticket
I've got a golden twinkle in my eye
I never had a chance to shine
Never a happy song to sing
But suddenly half the world is mine
What an amazing thing
'Cause I've got a golden ticket
[Spoken]
It's ours, Charlie!
[Sung]
I've got a golden sun up in the sky
I never thought I'd see the day
When I would face the world and say
Good morning, look at the sun
I never thought that I would be
Slap in the lap of luxury
'Cause I'd have said:
Charlie:
It couldn't be done
Grandpa Joe:
But it can be done
I never dreamed that I would climb
Over the moon in ecstasy
But nevertheless, it's there that I'm
Shortly about to be
Grandpa Joe and Charlie:
'Cause I've got a golden ticket
I've got a golden chance to make my way
And with a golden ticket, it's a golden day
Grandpa Joe:
[Spoken]
Good morning, look at the sun!
Grandpa Joe and Charlie:
[Sung]
'Cause I'd have said,
It couldn't be done
Grandpa Joe:

I have another puzzle for you
Oompa Loompa doom-pa-da-dee
If you are wise, you'll listen to me
Gum chewing's fine when it's once in a while
It stops you from smoking and brightens your smile
But it's repulsive, revolting, and wrong
Chewing and chewing all day long
The way that a cow does
Oompa Loompa doom-pa-dee-da
Given good manners, you will go far
You will live in happiness too
Like the Oompa Loompa doom-pa-dee-do

Think of them as thread enhancers.
It is engend'red in the eyes, With gazing fed, and fancy dies In the cradle where it lies.

You should be thankful, based on these forums today I was expecting you to be gelded and skinned alive when I first read your topic.

We're getting to that part eventually. Have to sharpen and cleanse the ritual blades first.

We are in the 21st century, and it is a shame that games like Saint's Row 2 or even Baldur's Gate have options that are not included in modern rpg games despite that they would fit in those better.
You make some serious errors in judgment based on assumptions due to (what I would guess) a lack of understanding of video game history.
First games start with limited resources (memory, graphics and sound capabilities, etc) and push the limits of those resources.
Then the games get creative in how to be more fun despite the limited resources (offer more choices / options / customization - naming of things is as easy as $trings in coding). You get more story and depth of plot to balance the lack of gameplay / graphics / etc.
Then video game resources make a huge jump - graphics, sound, memory have hit a plateau where the focus becomes, yet again, pushing those boundries. As those boundries are pushed, the creative innovation gets cast aside.
Then the resource limits are hit, and creative innovation steps in again. We have the new levels of graphics, sound and storage capacity - so now we add back in choice, story, etc.
Some of those limited resources include money, time, and programmers. But then new game engines are designed and reused, decreasing the need for money, time and programmers to develop the game engine.
But then game engines become obsolete and new game engines need to be designed, pulling that money, time and programming resource allotment away from story, choice, etc.
It's not about the 20th or 21st century - that is such a non-sequitor. I actually saw someone post on one of the gaming magazine sights that BioWare should get over the "new fad" of transferring characters between games as it was so mid 2000's. Uhm, transferring characters between games is about as old as cRPGs. Story and choices when graphics and sound are at a peak, then graphics and sound over story and choices when the hardware takes a leap forward. That's what happens.
