A female elf romance.

That's a Shianni clone. I'd have no problem with that.

I believe I already said the keyword is "RPGmaker" because the graphics are like of that, but i think the saga is second only to Laxius Power so it is still quite well known ^_^

Male dwarf Warrior - Less drunk and more badass than Oghren.

Male qunari Warrior - Complete opposite of Sten.

Female dwarf Rogue - Shale in squishy dwarf form.

Obligatory Mage Apostate.

Obligatory Circle Mage.

Overly opinionated spirit/demon but lovable and convertable.

Female human Warrior - Love interest, possibly like Alistair.

Male human Rogue - Love interest, possibly Grey Warden.

a 'good' darkspawn.....

I wish people would stop saying this because it doesn't make sense. Regardless of how good it is, a darkspawn is still a darkspawn. The darkspawn spread a disease called the blight. All of your party members would get sick and turn into ghouls. The only ones immune to it are the Grey Wardens.

And coming into contact with darkspawn blood supposedly causes that. Needless to say, in the course of Origins you splatter plenty of darkspawn with non-warden party members and they don't get sick.

If there was a "good darkspawn," odds are it'd be The Messenger, or any remnant sentient darkspawn with some explainable change of allegiance.

How about companions that can romance each other? It always felt a little weird that everyone's basically waiting around for you to say the word so they can jump your bones.

Among love interests, I prefer this to only occur if the player steers them in that direction. Among non-love interests, it's fine though, IMO. I only say this because it seems the most fair compromise.

Yeah, I would agree with that. How annoying would it be if your chosen LI was off the market?:P Definitely some subtle, indirect nudging would be called for.

fine, but no cookie then:

they are from the Aveyond stories, the vampire Te'ijal and the paladin Galahad

first game in that setting (and a major favorit of mine) is now free (still the game is a bit outdated in terms of controls, but I love it)

I'd like to see the following:

A good (or perhaps evil one manipulating you?) dragon who has taken the form of a human to help you out?

A strong-willed elven warrior who's hostile towards humans, but is forced to work with you for the greater good. Maybe he or she will question your leadership now and then.

A crazy mage who's constantly in a depressed mood, but enjoys burning things to ashes (think a combination of Xan and Ignus)

A wild barbarian (perhaps Qunari or perhaps not) woman who is, well, wild and dangerous and tend to go into a berserker rage now and then. A hothead.

A snarky rogue/ranger type who enjoys killing, much like Belkar in the Order of the Stick webcomic. Perhaps make it a dwarf.

A super-optimistic bard who always sees things from its brightest angle. This character coupled with the depressed mage I suggested above for much entertainment.

A spirit shaman, who hears the voices of its ancestors.

A monk character. Pious, collected and overly serious. Could be a mentor-character. Alternatively you could make it a paladin instead.

Fenale priest who has trouble with her faith. Would be interesting if you could change her views on her faith in both directions (her faith bolstered or her becoming an athiest/agnostic)

An inexperienced (yet Skilled) young soldier (I'm picturing Male but either would work) who slowly becomes adjusted (or corrupted) by the actions throughout the game: and the PC's input.

A grizzled Veteran of many battles who has turned his back on war... until actions push him/her to retake the sword and shield and fight for his/her own survival. (sort of like Liliana, but with a dash of Zaeed thrown in)

Or a Runaway Slave with nothing to lose by joining up with you... but turns out mister/miss Slave has a dark past.
