Just like to say Scyphozoa has the best avatar icon. And I think that making DA 2 is very fast, considering lots of people bombed out playing it. Will the new DA2 be compatible with any DA1 stuff?

An inexperienced (yet Skilled) young soldier (I'm picturing Male but either would work) who slowly becomes adjusted (or corrupted) by the actions throughout the game: and the PC's input.

A grizzled Veteran of many battles who has turned his back on war... until actions push him/her to retake the sword and shield and fight for his/her own survival. (sort of like Liliana, but with a dash of Zaeed thrown in)

Or a Runaway Slave with nothing to lose by joining up with you... but turns out mister/miss Slave has a dark past.

now that you mention it, i could imagine an elven mage who is influenced by our actions and discussions, and this is how he/she chooses sppecialities (like blood mage and arcane warrior) aand even the equipment he/she finds and wears ( could imagine a fiery mage girl made to become an arcan warrior with a longsword in her hand, and also becoming a spirit healer)

Vanessa:

An Elven Archer who joins up with you after ambushing you in the forest, she has the upper hand in the situation and prepares to shoot you in the face with her bow before turning around and shooting her partner instead. She unties you and apologizes for what she's done, saying it was necessary for her to go that far to get the drop on her friend.



If you allow her to follow you, she'll thank you but remain cold with you and the group and stay alone. As you befriend her more and more, she talks more but still appears closed off. After a while, her friend's contacts will come after her and you can save her from them - gaining you her trust.



[High approval] She brings you away from the camp and tells you a story about how she sold her Dalish clan to slavery, she's only tagged along with you in the efforts of bringing you and your companions near the slaver encampment to sell you out. She apologizes and never knew that people could genuinely still be nice to her after what she's done.



You offers you the chance to kill her, you can comply or say that she's a friend and let her live. She's shocked by this and remains quiet for a little while, she eventually reveals more about her past with her clan and what led her to selling them out.



There is no romance path available with her, to prevent the stereotype of 'attractive young women' instantly being turned into romance options.



[Low approval] She'll mention that she has a task that she needs doing towards the south, bringing you near the Slaver encampment mentioned above. She ambushes the camp and entraps them into a building where she argues with the Slaver leader who double crosses her and imprisons her as well, think of this scene similar to the prison scene in DA:O where you need to somehow get out.



Once you do, you're forced to look around and free your companions who are trapped in other cells. Once they are all saved, you can escape and find her imprisoned in a cell at the front. She'll beg you to not leave without her, you can taunt her and do the following:

Pretend you're the Slaver who's going to sell her.

Leave her to her fate.

Kill her.

Release her, tell her you never want to see her again.

Release her but keep her with you as a prisoner / hostage.
