What kind of Companions are you hoping for?

-A male version of Wynne. an elderly human or elven male mage. He's wise, kind, sort of like Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings, generally specializes in crowd control style magic. He's completely good and stays on the proper moral path. If he's elven, perhaps he's well versed in ancient elven lore? He pretty much could even resemble Gandalf somewhat, except maybe shorter hair, no beard? Must come with a cool robe.
-A proud human male barbarian, likely Chasind. Very tall, intimidating, and hulking with dark hair, strong muscules and build, and could even be attractive. He's the protective sort (esp if you are playing a female Hawke) that is morally neutral but has a code of honor. Specializes in two handed weapons (I'm thinking a nice big maul or axe to go with him). He's also a possible love interest for a female Hawke.
-A human female Chevalier from Orlais, complete with the accent and all. I'm thinking a very elegant, very noble woman with flowing blonde hair (we've had a lot of dark-haired and even a redhead beauty, this time I'd like to see a blonde). complete with emerald green eyes (or sapphire blue). Basically the female version of the romanticized knight, specialty in weapon and shield combat. She would definitely be a love interest for a male Hawke and a good-aligned character.
-A possessed human male knight, the archetypal "dark knight" sort, complete with a gloomy demeanor and usually encases himself in a huge suit of ebon black armor (scary helm and all). When he takes off his helm, he's a handsome but tortured looking soul (silver hair and blue eyes maybe?). He's made a pact with a demon that's slowly decaying his body (perhaps a sidequest in which you can either remove his taint, help him redeem himself, allow him to embrace his taint or be forced to kill him). He would be a two-hand warrior OR a polearm specialize (provided polearms are included), sort of like a dragoon. Possible love interest for a female Hawke.
-An elven female sorceress with long, parted red or dark hair. She's basically very sassy and flirtatious and tries to distance herself from her elven heritage as much as possible, a wanna-be human (she was raised around humans in the Circle, the only elf). She has a deep, resenting dislike of her race and often mistreats fellow elves and scorns them openly, usually to try and win approval from humans. Hawke can help her learn to love her heritage, indulge in her self-hate, or a more racist inclined Hawke would even remind her that she will never be human and will be an elf no matter what she does (and still treat her bad despite her views). She would be an offensive caster who generally is good with fire magic. Possible love interest for a male Hawke.
-A disgraced dwarven warrior who specializes in dual wielding, likely twin battleaxes or maces. Basically this dwarf was once a high ranking member of the dwarven caste (nobility?) but was exiled due to politics or perhaps she fell in love with a non-dwarf (an elf or human). However, this character is also a backstabber him/herself and should be proceeded with caution, not having enough loyalty this character can betray Hawke. Definitely a sidequest returning to Orzammar or another dwarven city would be in order. Would be cool to have a female dwarf thats even a possible romantic interest to Hawke should she be convinced enough.
-An elven male dalish elf who specializes in archery and the ranger sub-class. He and the aforementioned sorceress would have an interesting story arc, possibly at odds with one another and even possibly romantic interests in one another (he can help her love herself and her heritage). Definitely not interested in Hawke due to Hawke's human heritage, he does this for the sake of his people and is reluctant to help humans. Over time possibly befriending him could help him change his prejudice towards humans or being on his bad side and doing things he disapproves of (anything against elves) would have him further hate humanity.
-A seductive human or elven female rogue that specializes in dual wielding daggers (or fencing if its included) and focusing on backstabbing. Like a female version of Zevran, she's from Antiva and also an assassin, perhaps has a strong Italian accent with dark hair and eyes? She may even have come in contact with Zevran. A female "Casanova", she's very flirtatious and beautiful and interested in both men and women. Hawke could perhaps convince her to become more moral and renounce her amoral ways (sort of like Viconia in Baldurs Gate), those who low approval may have to face a nasty betrayal from her at a crucial point in the game.
-A benevolent spirit (either male or female) that from the Fade (done similar to Justice from Awakening). Perhaps you could even customize this spirit, choosing its gender, class, and specialization or it comes out of how you handle a certain quest (that you'd do in the Fade). Or depends on Hawke's gender, choices, etc..., but a customizable spirit and party member would be cool to have around.
-A male qunari that is a militant of the qunari religion. Would be interesting to have a qunari rogue or even an unarmed fighter type (their beliefs are similar to Buddhism) and he's constantly seeking enlightenment and tries to force his beliefs on Hawke and gets along easier with a male Hawke than female. His character would delve further into qunari lore.
-A handsome human or elven male rogue that is more dashing, like a Robin Hood type. A contrast to Zevran, he uses his talents in order to aid the poor and disadvantaged and even has a devout belief in the Chantry. Very witty, very charming, and very persuasive, he would have either brown, blonde, or red hair and piercing green eyes. He would be a romantic interest to either gender and possibly could pursue a relationship with the female chevalier or sorceress if Hawke does not have a relationship with him. A love triangle between him and the Dalish elf over the sorceress would make things interesting, maybe even a part where you're forced to take sides.
-And lastly...an apostate blood mage or arcane warrior thats very hellbent on destruction and causing travesty, even borderline psychotic, like a perverse Jowan or something similar. Would have very powerful debilitation and hexing spells, but the majority of party members (save for the dark knight) would not get along with him/her. Very similar to Jack from Mass Effect 2 in that he/she is easily aroused, angry, and even has a bit of a potty mouth (in Thedas style, of course).

That's useing the old noggin. Find Morrigan, as Hawke to reestablish the love you had for her as the warden. Makes perfect sense.

Or to set up a love triangle between Morrigan and yourself and ... yourself. Is that more of a love line?

Guess I'll be holding my breath for a while until a DLC, expansion or sequel answers resolves my Warden and Morrigan relationship...

2. An agressive quarni that's completely opposite from Sten; chaotic evil FTW!
3. Atton... only in DA2.
4. Kreia... only in DA2.
5. Sandal (No really, I mean it.)
6. A legitimatly evil character that enjoys seeing people in pain.
7. An elf that is similar to the one that falls in love in Maric in 'The Stolen Throne', I forget her name at the moment.
8. Later in the game we should be able to have a Grey Warden as a companion.

Just give me a moment, I'm trying to think of a rebuttal.
Your face. That was lackluster.

Oh, and a female warrior who doesn't die 10 minutes in.
That one's worth repeating (although possibily with the addition that she should at least be able to survive the first few hours of gameplay instead of getting killed off right at the beginning). I also think that Daveth from Ostagar was a fun character and it'd be nice to have a companion like that. His sarcasm and cheery optimism was a nice touch because it wasn't overdone.
Also Gorim from the dwarf noble origin would have been the best companion in Origins if he'd become a party member!
